Look, I’ll be straight with you about the Luxury Suite Borinquen – it’s one of those places that actually lives up to its name, which honestly surprised me a bit. When I first pulled up to 14 Calle Venezuela, I was expecting another overhyped Playa de las Americas spot, but this place has something different going on. The parking situation alone makes it worth considering – and I mean that seriously, because if you’ve ever tried to find a decent parking spot in this part of Tenerife during peak season, you know it’s like winning the lottery.

The suites themselves are… well, they’re properly luxurious without being stuffy about it. You walk in and there’s this immediate sense of space that you just don’t get in most hotels around here. The pool area is where I spent most of my mornings, actually – it’s got this perfect sweet spot where you can hear the ocean but you’re not dealing with the beach crowds. What really got me was how quiet it stays, even when the main strip gets crazy busy (which, let’s face it, happens pretty much every night). The staff seems to genuinely know the area too – they pointed me toward this little tapas place about three blocks down that I never would’ve found on my own, and it ended up being one of the best meals I had all week.

Here’s what you need to know: this isn’t your typical tourist trap. The 9.3 rating isn’t just hotels.com fluff – people are genuinely happy here, and after staying a few nights, I get why. The attention to detail is there without being fussy, the location gives you easy access to everything without putting you right in the middle of the chaos, and honestly? The whole experience just feels more… authentic, I guess. You’re still in Playa de las Americas, so you’ve got all the restaurants and nightlife within walking distance, but you come back to this calm, well-run place where everything actually works the way it’s supposed to. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the Wi-Fi can be a bit spotty in the evenings when everyone’s online, but that’s pretty standard for this area. If you’re looking for something that feels more like a proper getaway than just another hotel stay, this place delivers.

  It was lovely, we had a lovely stay, it had everything we needed whilst staying there and the location was perfect. It was very clean and we felt safe there.

  Stayed here last year and booked again. Great quiet location and great place for a week with fully equipped kitchen. Easy self check in with nice recommendations of what to do in the area. Nice quiet pool area. Security on site who was nice helpful man. Very well maintained apartment complex. I have a bad back and found the bed to be great.
  
  What could be improved: A few things we missed from our last stay, just little extra touches like no coffee machine with coffe pods(there was coffee making utensils) or water in the fridge this time round. If I could make a recommendation it would be these although minor. Pool is great but limited sun beds.

  the stay was perfect, very good localization close to the beach. The apartment was very nice and clean and contact with the owner was very good, he gave us some recommendations which places are good to visit for dinner etc. I can clearly recommend! 😊

  This property had everything you could possibly need- drawers filled with shower gels, moisturisers, sun cream etc! It had a good TV, a nice little balcony and the bed was comfy, too 🙂
  
  What could be improved: The only drawback, which didn’t particularly cause an issue, was the air con unit: maybe just leave a warning to visitors that it can, and does, leak after it’s been on for a little while!
  
  The only other inconvenience was the keypad to get in, the access number was quite long & one night our phones died and we had no way to get in! We had to contact a random bus driver hahah! But that isn’t something that can really be helped 🙂

  Well furnished, clean property. In a great location. Everything we needed was provided. Host provided a wide selection of restaurant & bar recommendations which we found helpful 🙂 we did have a slight issue with the washing machine, contacted the host he was very helpful and was on the case straight away and got somebody out to resolve the issue and made sure we were kept updated throughout!

  I had an absolutely fantastic stay, if I can give more than 10 points of rating, I would! Everything was not only as described, but even better – it's like a luxury gem in Tenerife! The price-service ratio is also amazing, considering the suit's location, around 7-8 minutes walking from the beach. The suit offers such a beautiful view from the balcony and there is everything you need – such as an AC, a very comfortable relaxing sofa, and all kitchen amenities. To top this off, the place was impeccably clean and I had a very smooth communication with the host. Another big plus is the private parking and the access to the swimming pool. I will definitely be back!
