Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Luxury Holidays Suites on Calle Amalia Alayon, I wasn’t expecting much from the name alone (sounds a bit generic, right?). But this place actually surprised me in the best way possible. You’re literally a two-minute walk from Los Cristianos beach, and I mean the good part where the sand isn’t completely packed with tourists fighting for umbrella space. The hotel sits on this quiet residential street that most people just walk past on their way to the main strip, which honestly works in your favor because you get that peaceful vibe without being stuck in the middle of nowhere.

The suites themselves are what really sold me on this place – and you know what, they actually feel like suites, not just hotel rooms with a kitchenette shoved in the corner. The living areas are spacious enough that you can spread out your stuff (finally!), and the balconies… well, most of them have at least partial ocean views if you crane your neck a bit. The kitchens are properly equipped too, which comes in handy because eating out every meal in Los Cristianos can get expensive fast. I particularly appreciated the washing machine in each unit – sounds boring, I know, but when you’re staying more than a few days and dealing with beach clothes and swimwear, it’s a game changer. The décor is sort of modern-minimalist without being cold, though some of the furniture shows a bit of wear (nothing major, just lived-in).

What really sets this place apart is the location knowledge you get from the staff – they actually know the area instead of just pointing you toward the obvious tourist traps. They steered me toward this little fish restaurant about five minutes inland that I never would have found otherwise, and they knew exactly when the morning fish market happens down by the harbor. The pool area gets busy around mid-morning when families start filtering down, but if you’re an early riser like me, you can have it practically to yourself with your coffee. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle on the narrow street, but the hotel has a few spots and there’s usually something available within a block or two. The 8.5 rating makes sense to me – it’s not trying to be a fancy resort, but it nails the things that actually matter when you’re staying somewhere for more than just a quick beach holiday. You’re close enough to walk to everything (the marina, the ferry to La Gomera, those seafront restaurants), but far enough from the main drag that you’re not dealing with late-night noise from the bars.

  Very central, lovely modern apartment, welcome pack was a nice touch. Air conditioning, fantastic shower and comfortable beds. Really well equipped had everything we needed.
  
  What could be improved: TV was pay per view which was fine but no instructions, difficult to set up, not a big issue.

  Located in the center close to 2 nice beaches. The apartment was very clean and comfy. There was everything for cooking in the kitchen, except a dishwasher. We got some snacks and a bottle of wine upon arrival.
  
  What could be improved: It was quite loud to sleep. We woke up every day early because of a child who cried and locals who spoke very loudly. The thing we didn’t like is that there was lack of shower gel and toilet paper. If you run out of toilet paper you need to buy it yourself (I have never seen something like that). There were also only 4 capsules of coffee for 2 people for a week.

  We had a wonderful time here. The excellent location provided convenient access to everything we needed, we were impressed by the cleanliness throughout. The modern furniture and equipment added to the comfort and convenience, it's an ideal choice for a family stay. Highly recommended!

  Great location, close to supermarkets, restaurants, bars, shops and about a 5 minute walk to the seafront.
  The complimentary wine and small basket of local produce (snacks), along with a bottle of water in the refrigerator and coffee pods, for the coffee maker, was a nice touch.
  
  What could be improved: The bed mattress has a protective coating, which made sleeping a bit sticky, although I can understand why the owners have decided to protect the mattress.

  This apartment so centrally situated in Los Christonas. Easy access to the building and the apartment was airy , spotless and the welcome packs were a very generous addition to the welcome we received.
  
  What could be improved: To be honest not much , if i was to really nit pick the balcony was very small but it did not bother us.

  Guest was very communicative, we had an issue with the front lock (things happen) and they were able to send a technician to fix the issue in a few hours on a bank day so i can't really ask for more. Also the property has 2 bathrooms, which, at least for me was a surprise – i either didn't read correctly or didn't deduce from the images.

  We did our own breakfast. There was a supermarket with a bakery , a cafeteria and cafe very near to the property . So we used to pop out every morning for fresh croissants , eggs and milk for our breakfast.
  
  What could be improved: It was a perfect accomodation. Every thing worked perfectly. High quality furniture and furnishings. The kitchen has every appliance and kitchen ware we wanted.
