Here’s the thing about Los Cristianos — most hotels either stick you right in the thick of things (hello, noise) or way out where you need a taxi for everything. Los Cristianos Aqua Viva found that sweet spot in between. You’re a pleasant walk to the beach and the harbor area, but when you want to escape back to your room, you actually can. The couples who stay here seem to get it — they’ve rated the location 9.4, and I can see why. Plus, there’s free parking on-site, which might not sound exciting until you’ve spent an hour circling Los Cristianos looking for a spot.

The Rooms

I’ll be honest — the rooms surprised me. They’re not trying to be flashy or Instagram-perfect, but everything just works really well together. The space feels bigger than you’d expect, and there’s actual thought put into where things are placed (you know how some hotels have the most awkward furniture arrangements?). The beds are properly comfortable, and the bathrooms have that clean, modern feel without being sterile. What I really appreciated was the attention to sound — you’re not hearing every conversation in the hallway or the neighbor’s TV.

The Neighborhood Experience

Los Cristianos itself is one of those places that feels authentically Canarian while still being tourist-friendly. From the hotel, you can easily walk down to the old fishing harbor — which is now full of restaurants and ferry boats to La Gomera, but still has character. The main beach is about a 10-minute stroll, and it’s the kind of beach where locals actually go, not just tour groups. There are proper Spanish bars mixed in with the tourist spots, and the hotel’s location means you can experience both without feeling stuck in either world.

  The apartment itself is perfectly located within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the beach. Both the bed and the sofa are incredibly comfortable for sleeping and relaxing, and the quiet neighbourhood ensured I had a peaceful, restful stay.
  
  The apartment is modern, newly decorated, and clearly prepared with great care—it was spotless and felt so fresh.
  
  I cannot recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a relaxing stay while still being close to all the amenities.

  Gioia es una anfitriona espectacular, muy atenta en todo momento y te hace la estancia muy cómoda.
  El alojamiento esta totalmente nuevo, es amplio y está totalmente equipado. Cocina con horno, microondas, cafetera y todos los utensilios necesarios para cocinar, así como un baño completo con toallas, secador, lavadora…
  También el apartamento tiene TV con canales internacionales y wifi.
  Tiene restaurantes y supermercados cercanos.
