Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw “Lemon Beach Tenerife Holiday Apartment” on Avenida Eugenio Dominguez Alfonso, I thought it might be one of those places that sounds better online than in person. But honestly? This little 3-star spot in Costa Adeje completely surprised me. The location is actually pretty brilliant – you’re close enough to hear the ocean if you open your windows at night, but far enough from the main Playa de las Américas chaos that you can actually sleep. The apartment setup works really well if you’re planning to stay more than a couple nights, which most people do around here anyway.

What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to get that most guests aren’t just passing through – they’re here to properly decompress. The woman at reception (I think her name was Carmen?) knew exactly which supermarket nearby had the best prices and which beach spots get too crowded after 11 AM. You know what’s funny? The building itself doesn’t look like much from the street – sort of typical Canarian apartment block vibes – but once you’re inside, there’s this unexpectedly peaceful courtyard area where you can sit with coffee in the morning before the day gets hot. The apartments themselves are well, they’re not fancy, but they’re thoughtfully laid out. Actually functional kitchenettes, decent shower pressure, and – this matters more than you’d think – proper blackout curtains so you can sleep off that Spanish dinner schedule.

The whole Costa Adeje area has this interesting mix of German tourists who’ve been coming for twenty years and know all the locals, plus newer visitors who are still figuring out that the best beaches aren’t necessarily the most famous ones. Being on Avenida Eugenio Dominguez Alfonso means you’re in walking distance of both worlds – the touristy strips with their fish and chips places, and the quieter residential streets where you can find those family-run tapas bars that don’t even have English menus. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak season (basically December through March), but there’s usually spots if you’re willing to walk a few minutes. The 9.1 rating honestly makes sense – it’s not trying to be a luxury resort, but it delivers on what it promises, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need. I mean, after a day of hiking in Teide National Park or lounging on Playa del Duque, you just want somewhere comfortable to crash that doesn’t feel like a sterile hotel room.

  Lovely studio with all the facilities you could need and good sized balcony. Beautiful sea views. Nice pool area. Parking also available.5 minutes to the beach. Near bars and restaurants. Bottle of wine, water and beach towels provided by host, which was a nice touch. The host was really helpful 🙂. Would definitely stay again.

  Such a lovely stay! Gertrud and Judit have been great hosts, and I am really happy I had the chance to meet them. The studio was really spacious for one person, the kitchenette was well-equipped with all the necessary tools, there was an amazing perfume every time I was getting into the studio, bahtroom has a bidet (!!) and it's small but has everything (even a washing machine). I also loved my balcony, very spacious and always sunkissed 🙂 The position was great, close from the beach and some supermarkets. The area is really safe. I had a great stay and if I would come back, I would definitely like to stay here again. It really felt like being home.
