Las Teresitas Apartment Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Las Teresitas Apartment, you immediately get the sense that this four-star property knows exactly what it’s doing. The building sits quietly on Calle Pista Militar in San Andrés, and honestly, the location couldn’t be better — guests consistently rate it 9.0, which makes total sense once you’re here. There’s something refreshing about finding a place that doesn’t try too hard but still delivers on every level. The entrance feels welcoming without being flashy, and you know what? Sometimes that’s exactly what you want after a long day of travel.
Location & Neighborhood
San Andrés has this laid-back Canarian charm that’s hard to find elsewhere, and Las Teresitas Apartment puts you right in the heart of it. You’re actually within walking distance of Playa de Las Teresitas — that stunning golden sand beach that looks like it belongs in the Caribbean (the sand was imported from the Sahara, which is a fun fact locals love sharing). The neighborhood feels authentically Spanish, not touristy, which I really appreciate. Couples especially seem to love this area — they rate it 8.5 for romantic getaways, and I can see why. There are little tapas bars tucked into side streets, and the evening paseo culture is alive and well here.
The Apartment Experience
What sets Las Teresitas Apartment apart is how it balances the independence of an apartment with the thoughtful touches of a hotel. The space feels genuinely lived-in rather than sterile — you’ll find a proper kitchen that’s actually equipped for cooking, not just reheating leftovers. The furnishings have character without being dated, and there’s enough room to spread out your things without feeling like you’re camping in someone’s spare room. I mean, after staying in cramped hotel rooms across Europe, having actual counter space and a dining table feels almost revolutionary.
Practical Perks
Here’s where Las Teresitas Apartment really shines — they’ve got free private parking on site, which is honestly a game-changer in the Canary Islands. Anyone who’s driven around Tenerife knows that parking can be a nightmare, especially near the beaches. The fact that you can just pull up and park without circling blocks or feeding meters? That alone probably saves you hours of frustration during your stay. It’s one of those practical details that might not sound exciting but makes your entire trip smoother.
Why Guests Love It
The 9.4 rating tells the real story here — this place consistently delivers on its promises without any pretense. Guests keep coming back because Las Teresitas Apartment feels like staying at a well-appointed friend’s place rather than a generic accommodation. You get the privacy and space to live normally (cook breakfast, spread out your maps, actually unpack), but with the reliability and cleanliness you expect from a four-star property. It’s particularly perfect for couples who want to experience San Andrés like locals rather than tourists, with easy access to both the beach and the authentic neighborhood life that makes this part of Tenerife so special.

Reviews of Las Teresitas Apartment
Edward from United Kingdom (9/10)
The host was extremely helpful and made us feel instantly at home! We were kindly supplied with some laundry detergents/softeners, shower gel, some cooking oil and more, even some beach supplies for the kids! The apartment was also really well equipped, including some very large smart TVs in the living room and in 2 of the 3 bedrooms. The views from the apartment were fantastic, with views across the mountains and also across the town to the sea!! Although there was no air-con, this wasn't a problem at all, as the position on the hill always supplied a nice breeze, and so windows could be opened to cool down if needed! The beach is really lovely (yellow sands with a sheltered bay and trees) and there are a few nice restaurants to choose from, with some beach bars with food too. There is also a SPAR shop for essential supplies in the town (and a Hyperdino is 10 mins drive away if you want a really big supermarket). As well as down to the beach, it was possible to take a walk up the mountain along a flat trail (we went in flip-flops, although probably not generally recommended!) – the views from there were stunning! Note that the walk into and back from town does involve a steep hill and lots of steps and certainly works your calve muscles if you choose to carry shopping up and down! Of course, you can choose to drive, though, and there is parking at the beach. We chose to walk and actually enjoyed keeping fit! Instead of taking the road down, it is possible to take a short cut by foot along steps that takes you into the town in 10 or so mins. Also note that there is a really lovely swimming pool complex (saltwater) in Santa Cruz, just 10 or so mins drive away, which was fairly cheap to use, and good if you're after a break from the beach. Loro Parque is also in the north and around 50 min drive away. Although we didn't go, Anaga Rural Park is also close (20 or so mins drive I think).

The apartment is big, cosy and very clean, and the view over Teresitas beach is wonderful. It was perfect for us, as a family with two children. Another plus is the garage to park the car.

We really enjoyed our stay here! We specifically chose the north side of the island because we didn't want to stay in a tourist hotspot. For this San Andres is perfect! It's a nice little town with a beautiful sandy beach. From here on you can head up into the mountains for spectacular views or drive 15 minutes south to Santa Cruz.
We felt like home at the apartment. The beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and we really enjoyed the breeze throughout the apartment. There were even toys and books to keep the kids (and ourselfs) entertained. Obviously when on Tenerife you don't spend much indoors, but it's nice to be able to relax and have a good rest after outdoor activities.
We rarely go back to the same place because there's so many beautiful places to visit in one life, but for Tenerife it's easy to make an exception. When we return, we'll definitely be looking to stay at this place again!Andras from Hungary (9/10)
