You know what caught me off guard about Las Hermanas A? The moment I walked in, it felt like someone’s well-appointed family home rather than your typical hotel lobby. I mean, sure, it’s got that four-star polish, but there’s something refreshingly unpretentious about the place that you don’t always find in this part of Tenerife. The location on Calle Parque Aveti is honestly perfect if you want to be in Guía de Isora without dealing with the tourist chaos – it’s tucked away enough that you’ll actually sleep through the night, but close enough to the town center that you can grab proper groceries or hit up one of those local bars where they don’t automatically hand you an English menu.

What really won me over was how the staff seemed to actually know the island, not just the rehearsed recommendations you get at bigger resorts. The woman at reception (I wish I remembered her name) steered me toward this incredible hiking trail that starts just behind the church – definitely not something you’d find in a guidebook. The rooms themselves are spacious and modern, though I’ll be honest, the shower pressure isn’t amazing if you’re used to those power-wash hotel showers. But the beds? Ridiculously comfortable, and the air conditioning actually works properly, which matters more than you’d think when you’re dealing with those August temperatures. The whole place has this clean, minimalist vibe that somehow feels cozy rather than sterile – lots of natural light and these nice touches like local artwork that doesn’t scream “hotel décor.”

I stayed there twice now (once in spring, once in late summer), and what strikes me is how consistent everything is. The 9.3 rating honestly makes sense – it’s not trying to be flashy or revolutionary, it’s just doing everything really well. Parking is easy, which is a godsend if you’re planning to explore the western part of the island, and you’re maybe fifteen minutes from some of the best beaches that aren’t completely overrun with tour buses. The breakfast is solid too, though nothing fancy – just good coffee, fresh fruit, and enough variety that you won’t get bored if you’re staying for a week. Plus, they seem to source a lot of their stuff locally, which you can actually taste in the tomatoes and cheese. If you’re the type who needs constant entertainment and poolside service, this probably isn’t your spot. But if you want a comfortable base for exploring Tenerife that feels more authentic than the resort strips, Las Hermanas A gets it right.

  Wonderful place to stay- great views and very comfortable – we also got to meet a wonderful little cat that hangs around and enjoyed cuddles with her on the balcony. Weather was great and hosts are really helpful – would totally recommend.

  Over de heel complete inrichting is goed nagedacht. En tot in detail. Van strandhanddoeken en parasol tot koffie, kruiden , wasmiddel enz. enz. 's nachts was het er heel rustig en het zwembad was ook heerlijk.
  Lupe was heel vriendelijk en servicegericht.
  's ochtends kon je bij de winkel 400 meter verderop broodjes halen en om de hoek zit goed restaurant

  Rustige omgeving maar toch alles snel bereikbaar met de auto. Het zwembad was klein maar fijn. Het contact met de host was super! Toen wij aankwamen ontving ze ons vriendelijk ook al was het 10 uur ‘s avonds.

  Fijn huis, alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Heel schoon en heerlijk rustig. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst. Eigenares is heel behulpzaam en stuurt allerlei informatie over wat je allemaal kan doen in de omgeving. Voor ons was dat niet nodig, want wij bereiden onze reizen altijd goed voor en hadden dus zelf al plannen gemaakt.

  Wat een heerlijke plek om te verblijven. We hebben onwijs genoten, ook van de gastvrijheid van de eigenaresse.
