Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Las Adelfas 2 on Calle Los Cardones, I wasn’t expecting much. The street’s pretty quiet, which actually turned out to be perfect since you’re not dealing with tourist crowds or late-night noise from bars. It’s tucked into this residential part of San Miguel de Abona that feels authentically Canarian, you know? Not the sanitized resort version you get closer to the coast.

What really got me was how the staff just… knew things. Like, when I mentioned I wanted to hit some local spots, the front desk guy (I think his name was Miguel) didn’t just hand me a generic tourist map. He actually sketched out a route to this little family-run restaurant about ten minutes away that serves the best papas arrugadas I’ve had on the island – and I mean that. The hotel itself has this understated elegance that works really well. The rooms are spacious without being flashy, and honestly, the beds are fantastic. I’m usually terrible at sleeping in hotels, but I was out cold both nights. The bathroom had one of those rainfall showers that actually has decent pressure, which seems like a small thing until you’ve stayed at places where the water barely trickles out.

The location is sort of perfect if you’re planning to explore the southern part of Tenerife. You’re about fifteen minutes from the airport (super convenient for early flights), but you’re also close enough to places like Playa de la Tejita and El Médano if you want proper beaches without the Playa de las Américas madness. There’s decent parking right at the hotel, which – trust me – matters more than you think when you’re driving around these winding Canarian roads. I ended up spending most evenings on their terrace area, which catches this amazing light right before sunset. You can actually see toward the coast from there, and on clear days you get glimpses of the ocean between the hills. The whole place has this calm, residential vibe that made me feel like I was staying in someone’s well-appointed home rather than a typical hotel. It’s the kind of place where you end up lingering over breakfast (which was really good, by the way – proper local cheese and tomatoes, not just generic continental stuff) because there’s no rush to escape and find somewhere better to hang out.

  The complex is just right for a quiet comfortable self catering holiday.lovely clean rooms upstairs and downstairs showers and toilets,three lovely pools very safe for children the pools are gated off.was greeted by the lovely Maria who always makes you feel like your part of her family.20 mins walk to San blas where there's plenty of bars and eating places.25 mins on the bus to los Cristinas.it was our 4 visit to last adelfas 2 and will be returning.

  Great little one bedroom house. Ideal if you want some peace, with everything you need on your doorstep! There is a bus stop 2 mins away if you wanted to go into the lively resorts. The waterfall bar on the complex does lovely food.
  The accommodation is clean, and well looked after.
  Maria and Alfonso are great hosts. This is the second time we have stayed at Las Adelfas 2.

  Great location , Maria so helpful as was her husband . Restaurant on site (need to book )Irish sports bar a supermarket and pizza shop less than 10 mins away . but within another 15 minutes you're surrounded by places to eat all cost effective aka cheap .
