You know what caught me off guard about LABRANDA Bahía Fañabé & Villas? It’s actually got this split personality thing going on that somehow really works. When I first pulled up to Avenida Bruselas – and honestly, the parking situation is way better than most places in this part of Adeje – I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star spot. But there’s something about how they’ve arranged the main hotel building alongside these separate villa units that feels more thoughtful than your typical tourist trap.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to be in the thick of things without the chaos of Los Cristianos. You’re maybe a 10-minute walk to Playa de Fañabé, and I mean the good part of the beach where the sand isn’t packed with umbrellas by 9 AM. What I really appreciated was how close everything felt – you can actually walk to that little strip of restaurants along the coast without needing a taxi or rental car. The villa setup means you get this quieter vibe in the evenings, which is clutch because the main hotel areas can get a bit lively (nothing crazy, just families and couples enjoying themselves). Check-in was surprisingly smooth too, none of that standing-around-waiting nonsense you get at some of these places.

Here’s the thing about the 7.5 rating – it’s spot on, and I mean that as a compliment. This isn’t trying to be some luxury resort, but it nails what it’s going for. The rooms are clean and functional, the pool area gets decent sun most of the day, and the staff genuinely seems to know the area well enough to point you toward the less touristy spots. I had this one guy at the front desk tell me about this tiny tapas place about 15 minutes inland that turned out to be incredible – that’s the kind of local knowledge you want. The villa units especially make sense if you’re staying more than a few days, since you get a bit more space and it feels less like you’re living in a hotel corridor. Sure, you’re not getting marble bathrooms or those fancy rain showers, but honestly? Everything works, it’s comfortable, and you’re spending most of your time outside anyway. The morning coffee situation is decent enough, and there’s this little terrace area where you can actually sit and plan your day without feeling rushed. If you’re looking for something reliable in Adeje that won’t blow your budget but still puts you right where you want to be, this place gets it right.

  The staffs were really nice, we forgot to bring the adaptor for plug, they have one to spare. When we did the check out at 12:00 they let us to stay until 18:00 with all the inclusive available to use (drinks, food, toilets) as our flight was just in the evening

  Overall the hotel is excellent. Hot water in the shower every day, large area, clean pools, you can always find free sun loungers in the shade. The choice of dishes is not very varied throughout the week, but it is filling and you can always find something to your liking.

  What could be improved: It’s a little dated in areas but you can see that the staff care and are constantly touching areas up and maintaining the complex. The food is basic and could have had a little more variety but was tasty.

  Great hotel and super cool animation team for children and shows for an adults. Lovely food and fantastic desserts. Big area of swimming pools with different deep. Very close to shops, bus stops, beaches
