The location is actually pretty clever – you’re right in Puerto de la Cruz but tucked away on a quieter street, so you get the best of both worlds without the constant tourist chaos that hits the main drags.

The woman at reception (I think her name was Carmen) knew exactly which local bus would get me to the botanical gardens without three transfers, and she was right about the little bakery around the corner having the best cortadito in the neighborhood. The rooms themselves are clean and comfortable – nothing fancy, but honestly, who spends their time in the Canary Islands sitting in a hotel room anyway? The beds are actually decent (I’m picky about mattresses), and the bathroom has proper water pressure, which is more than I can say for some places I’ve stayed that cost twice as much.

Here’s the thing that really sets this place apart though – it feels like staying somewhere locals would actually recommend to their visiting relatives. You’re a five-minute walk from the black sand beaches, but more importantly, you’re in the heart of where real Puerto de la Cruz life happens. That 9.7 rating isn’t just some fluke – it’s because places like this understand that travelers want authentic experiences, not just a bed and a continental breakfast. The area gets lively in the evenings (but not obnoxiously loud), and you can walk to proper restaurants where they’re not just serving paella to tourists all day. I mean, don’t get me wrong – the paella’s probably fine too, but you know what I mean. If you’re looking for a place that gives you a real taste of the town without breaking the bank or dealing with resort nonsense, La Sirena Playa B is honestly one of those rare finds that makes you want to keep it a secret… except then you’d feel guilty not sharing it.

  Apartament zadbany i czysty, gospodarze bardzo pomocni. Piękny widok na ocean. Apartament miał wszystko czego potrzebowaliśmy. Miejsca parkingowe znajdowaliśmy bez problemu, jest tylko trochę ciasno na ulicy jak to na Teneryfie

  Localisation parfaite à Punta Brava, accès direct à la plage. Jolie vue. Calme et bercé par le bruit des vagues. Possibilité de se parquer facilement dans les alentours (du moins en janvier). Equipement de cuisine simple, fonctionnel et en bon état. Appartement très propre et bien entretenu.
