Here’s what I love about the location — you’re actually in a real neighborhood where locals live, not some sterile hotel district. Adeje itself is perfectly positioned between the bustling resort areas and the more authentic Canarian towns, so you get the best of both worlds. The street is wonderfully quiet (couples seem to really appreciate this for romantic getaways), but you’re still close enough to everything that matters. And can we talk about that free parking? In this part of Tenerife, that’s honestly a game-changer, especially if you’re planning to explore the island properly.

The Space

What strikes you about La Casita is how it manages to feel both cozy and spacious at the same time. The rooms — well, they’re more like little apartments really — have this lived-in comfort that you just don’t get in traditional hotels. You know what I mean? There’s actual character here, with thoughtful touches that suggest someone really cares about the guest experience. The setup works particularly well if you’re the type who likes to settle in somewhere rather than just crash between sightseeing adventures.

Staying in this part of Adeje puts you in a sweet spot that many visitors completely miss. You’re close enough to Costa Adeje’s beaches and restaurants that you can easily walk or take a quick drive, but you’re also perfectly positioned for heading up into the mountains or exploring the more traditional parts of the island. The local buses run regularly if you don’t have a car, though honestly, having that guaranteed parking spot makes La Casita ideal for anyone planning to rent wheels and really see Tenerife properly.

  La casita esta situada en una zona tranquila, ideal para relajarse y desconectar. Tiene una vista espectacular y tiene unas instalaciones muy comodas. Tiene 2 cuartos y cada cuarto tiene su baño privado con doble lavamano. En la zona central (sala/cocina/comedor) hay un medio baño. Los cuartos tienen camas grandes y comodas asi como un closet inmenso para guardar tu ropa. La casita tiene lavadora y los electrodomesticos esenciales, inclusive una calefaccion portatil (para cuando hace frio). La Casita estaba limpia, asi como las sabanas y toallas se sentian y olian limpias.
  Fuimos recibidos con una caja de chocolates, un vino y litro y medio de agua para beber, lo cual se agradece en especial despues de un largo viaje.
  Hemos recomendado "La Casita" a nuestros familiares y definitivamente lo recomendamos a todo aquel que quiera pasar una estancia tranquila y placentera en el sur de Tenerife.
  
  What could be improved: Nada serio, solo algunos accesorios de baño, como los porta toallas, que aún estaban pendientes de ser reinstalados.

  We spent amazing holiday at this wonderful place!
  Everything was perfect, clean and comfortable!
  The house is super, fully equipped at super location with an amazing view!
  Additional extras as swimming pool and the terrace with barbeque is available at any time.
  The host Mariana is super – very kind and helpful person!

  Great apartment, very quiet – cars in the distance were few and not a distraction. Anyone super sensitive to noise can wear earplugs and not have an issue.
  
  Communication with Mariana was always quick and efficient. Really helpful and was easy to see she cares about the work she does.
  
  Kitchen has all the tools you need, very clean and spacious.
  
  Showers can get as hot or as cold as you like, powerful enough too! Tonnes of towels and even an umbrella by the door for the beach if required.
  
  Terrace is huge and has coal for BBQ, great views!
  
  Plenty wardrobe space, it was just the 2 of us, but there is enough for 6 easily.
  
  No air-conditioning, but for us, the black tower fan kept the air moving and wecould sleep with the noise it made on the lowest setting. Our room was 26-27°c during September. Having the fan blow air in from the windows for 2hrs on max fan brought it down to 24°c before going to bed, but naturally this crept back up overnight when put on quiet mode with shut window.
  
  Neighbours in the area were very helpful, we could speak Spanish luckily, but English may still be understood.
  
  Definitely a location you need to rent a car for, unless you are happy taking a 15min walk for the bus every time – definitely recommend Autoreisen!
  
  We didn't try the pool, but the beach (we went to the one left of Playa del Duque) was under 15min away.
  
  Lidl and Aldi is just a few min drive, there is a gym there as well which was great (€5 each), on also on the way to the beach. 45min roughly to the volcano – used it to propose to my partner of 10 years at sunset above the clouds!
  
  Area is really quiet, yet really close to the things you need, perfect balance!
  
  As there was nobody staying at the weekend, we could have a late checkout (6pm) – thank you so much Mariana!
  
  What could be improved: A guest booklet/guide would definitely help not only anyone staying there, but the time of the super helpful Mariana, as I bet she gets the same questions a lot about the apartment! Especially about how the front door works (see below), and location of pool and bins etc.
  
  Few of the towel holders and toilet roll holder fell off. This needed to be tightened with a hex-key, so we couldn't use them.
  
  Black tower fan was enough for us, but the blue standard one did not provide any assistance with heat or circulation. Plug cable wasn't very long either and quite loud.
  
  Door can only be opened with the key (no handle on outside), and it locks itself when shut. We accidentally locked ourselves out with the key left in the inside slightly turned – so another key from the outside wouldn't have helped – luckily with quick help from Mariana, a card could unlock the door by pushing it through – phew!
  
  Neighbours below were super quiet – we arrived at 00:30 on a Monday, they were smoking a bit of weed, but that was the only time we smelt it. The rest of the time they just chilled outside when they were there.
  
  No dishwasher tablets or clothes detergent in kitchen, or shampoo etc, one roll of toilet paper per bathroom (which was enough for 2 people for 1 week to be honest!)
  
  Some water for late check-ins would have been appreciated.
  
  Had to factory reset the Smart TV due to saved emails stored on it – this should be done after each stay.
  
  Tiny finishing touches like using some silicon to tidy up the skirting boards etc will also help make the place feel even more complete.

  Thank you for welcome package: wine and fruits. It was exactly what we needed after long flight. Location is calm, around 5-7 min drive to the beach. Spectacular views. All of our questions were answered within minutes.

  Es war sehr ruhig, das Internet war sehr schnell. Die Kommunikation war sehr gut, angenehm und entgegenkommend. Die Ausstattung war super, wir haben jeden Abend lecker gekocht. Die Lage erfordert selbstverständlich ein Auto, man kann aber dadurch die Wanderziele bzw Badestrände schnell erreichen.
  
  What could be improved: Die Beschreibung hätte etwas umfangreicher sein können: wo ist der Pool, wie ist der WLAN Code, wie soll man den Müll entsorgen…..

  L'accueil de Mariana et sa disponibilité, le logement qui correspondait exactement à nos attentes, la piscine attenante, la localisation dans les hauteurs d'Adeje mais proche de tout ont contribué à ce que notre séjour fut magique. De plus, les restaurants proches sont authentiques,loin du tumulte touristique,ce que nous recherchions. À fortement recommander ❤️
  
  What could be improved: Pour devoir en laisser un,le seul point négatif pour les personnes sensibles serait de fermer la fenêtre de la chambre la nuit afin de ne pas être incommodés par le bruit de l'autoroute proche surtout vers 5h du matin.
  Mais il s'agit juste de fermer une fenêtre. Cela ne nous empêchera surtout pas d'y retourner 😊

  La casa es muy agradable, bonita y muy cómoda, te sientes como en la tuya. El sitio es muy tranquilo. La orientación es muy buena, con lo que la temperatura perfecta.
