Hotel Description

You know what caught me off guard about La Casita? It’s tucked away on this quiet stretch of TF-652 in Arona, and honestly, when I first pulled up I wasn’t sure what to expect. The building itself has this understated charm – nothing flashy, but there’s something genuinely welcoming about the way it sits there, sort of nestled into the landscape. I mean, you’re still close enough to all the action in Los Cristianos and Playa de las Américas (maybe a 10-minute drive), but you actually get some peace and quiet here. The staff at check-in were refreshingly normal – no over-the-top hotel theatrics, just friendly locals who seemed to actually care about making your stay comfortable.

What really won me over was the attention to detail that you don’t notice until you’ve been there a day or two. The rooms have this lived-in quality without feeling worn down, if that makes sense. Mine had a little balcony that looked out toward the mountains, and in the evenings you could hear the faint sounds of life from the nearby neighborhoods – kids playing, someone’s TV, the occasional motorbike puttering by. It’s the kind of ambient noise that makes you feel like you’re actually experiencing the place, not just visiting a tourist bubble. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious, and honestly, the shower had better water pressure than my apartment back home. Small thing, but when you’re dealing with sandy feet after beach days, it matters. Speaking of which – parking was never an issue, which anyone who’s driven around southern Tenerife will tell you is no small miracle.

I stayed there during shoulder season in late April, and the place had this relaxed vibe that I imagine gets a bit busier in summer. The common areas have these little corners where you can actually have a conversation without shouting over other guests, and there’s a terrace where I’d grab coffee in the mornings before heading out. The location is actually perfect if you want to explore beyond the typical tourist spots – you’re close enough to hop over to Vilaflor if you want to see the pine forests, or take that winding drive up toward Teide without fighting through all the coastal traffic. What struck me most was how the whole place felt authentic in a way that’s getting harder to find. It’s not trying to be anything other than what it is – a solid, comfortable spot run by people who know hospitality. That 8.7 rating makes total sense when you stay there; it’s not perfect, but it gets all the important stuff right and then some.

  It was very clean, spacious and had everything we needed. It looked the same as it was in the photos. The house was very tasteful. Cristina was excellent at communicating with us and gave us really helpful information about the local area. It is in a perfect, lovely location. I definitely recommend this house, it made our trip enjoyable.

  My family really love this cute house! It have everything you need! A nice yard to enjoy your breakfast in the morning sun, a full equipped kitchen, a laundry machine to get rid of all dirty clothes before traveling home, 3 bathrooms and 3 bathrooms to avoid crowds. House located in a convenient distance to reach high way or nearest village or airport. And plus,price worth local restaurants,cafe and bakery in walking distance(probably not including the one cross the street).
