You know what struck me first about the Kn Aparthotel Columbus? It’s one of those places that actually gets the aparthotel concept right. I mean, you’re not staying in some cramped hotel room pretending to have a kitchenette – these are proper apartments with space to breathe. The building sits on Avenida Santiago Puig, which honestly is perfect because you’re close enough to hear the buzz of Playa de las Americas without being right in the thick of all that tourist chaos. When I walked in, the lobby had this clean, no-nonsense vibe – nothing fancy, but everything felt well-maintained and purposeful.

The location is really where this place shines, though. You’re literally a five-minute walk from the beach, but here’s the thing most people don’t realize – you’re positioned perfectly to skip the most crowded stretches of sand. Head left toward the quieter end near the golf course, or right if you want to be closer to the action around the CC Safari shopping center. The staff actually clued me in on this during check-in (which was refreshingly quick, by the way). What I loved most was having that proper kitchen setup – not just a mini-fridge and microwave, but actual cooking space. After a few days of restaurant meals, being able to grab fresh stuff from the Mercadona just down the street and cook something simple was honestly a game-changer. The apartments themselves are spacious enough that you don’t feel like you’re living on top of each other, which is huge if you’re traveling with family or staying for more than just a weekend.

The 7.6 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not trying to be some luxury resort, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. The pool area gets decent sun most of the day, and while it’s not massive, it never felt overcrowded when I was there in late spring. One small thing that impressed me was how quiet it stays at night, considering you’re in the heart of one of Tenerife’s busiest tourist zones. The soundproofing is actually pretty solid, and the neighborhood calms down enough that you can sleep with the windows open if you want that ocean breeze. I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for that sweet spot between independence and convenience – you get the freedom of having your own space to spread out and cook, but you’re still walking distance from everything that makes Playa de las Americas worth visiting. Just don’t expect resort-style amenities or fancy touches; this is more about comfort and practicality done well.

  Great location, room was a nice size, comfortable bed,old furniture didnt bother me, but balcony table needs to be replaced.cleaning could be improved,stains on floor, overall clean,bathroom had a brilliant power shower which I loved.fridge in room which was good, wifi was good, however charging for a safe,an iron and a kettle is crazy.I own a guest house and provide these items as standard.had dinner a couple of times and was nice,also had a few sandwiches and coffee everyday.all included in the price.house keeping knocked on my door and came in four times despite a do not disturb sign on door, I even stuck my own one up as the one provided kept blowing away.shouting at me to check out even though I was staying another 8 nights at that stage.staff in snack and dining areas were friendly.would stay again.

  Location is great for all local entertainment and beach only short walk away .
  Hotel is spotless and is great value for money .
  The restaurant s food is very good it's a 4 star restaurant in 3 star hotel.
  There's is loads of choice for everyone in Restaurant.
  All staff are friendly and helpful for the price off booking Columbas is a bargain.
