Look, I’ve stayed at my share of 3-star places, and honestly? Jasmine L7 completely changed what I expect from that category. When I first pulled up to Calle Pedro García Cabrera – it’s this quiet residential street in Armeñime that most tourists never even know exists – I wasn’t sure what to think. The building itself is pretty understated, sort of blends right into the neighborhood, but that actually turned out to be one of its biggest strengths.

What struck me first was how the staff genuinely seemed to give a damn. I mean, check-in was smooth (they had my room ready early, which never happens), but it was more than that – they knew the area like locals should. When I asked about getting to the coast, instead of just pointing toward Playa de la Arena like most places do, they told me about this little path that cuts down from behind the medical center that saves you like ten minutes of walking. That’s the kind of detail that matters when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days, you know? The rooms themselves are clean and well-maintained – nothing fancy, but everything works properly, which is honestly refreshing. The beds are actually comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the bathrooms have decent water pressure. There’s this nice touch where they’ve got local artwork on the walls instead of generic hotel prints, gives the place some personality.

Here’s what really won me over though – the location is perfect if you want to experience Tenerife like someone who actually lives here, not just another tourist trap. Armeñime sits between the busier coastal areas and the more residential inland neighborhoods, so you get this authentic Spanish vibe without being completely cut off from everything. There’s a little supermarket about two blocks away where the locals shop, and this family-run restaurant around the corner that serves incredible papas arrugadas – honestly better than most of the touristy spots charging twice as much. The hotel’s quiet at night (which matters more than you’d think), but you’re still only about a 15-minute walk to the waterfront when you want some action. Parking isn’t a nightmare either, which anyone who’s driven around the coastal towns will appreciate. I stayed there during shoulder season in October, and while I can’t speak to how crazy it gets in summer, the whole area felt relaxed and manageable. That 9.1 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not trying to be some luxury resort, but it absolutely nails what it is trying to be. If you want a solid, comfortable base for exploring this part of the island without paying resort prices or dealing with resort crowds, this place delivers.

  pas de tire bouchon ni décapsuleur .
  Aucune vue ,appartement aveugle sauf si vous ouvrez la porte d’entrée , et ça donne sur un terrain vague .
  Les fenêtres sont très hautes, font des puits de lumière , c’est tout.

  Było bardzo czysto i nowocześnie. Wszystko wyglądało na świeże i nowe 🙂
  
  What could be improved: Brak luster w pokojach lub chociaż w salonie.Jedyne było w łazience.
  Nie da się otworzyć okien, są bardzo malutkie i są bardzo wysoko. W lecie może być to problematyczne.
  Cena troszkę zawyżona jak na taką lokalizację.
