You know what struck me first about Hotel Las Madrigueras? The name actually means “the burrows” in Spanish, which is sort of perfect when you think about it – this place really does feel like a sophisticated hideaway tucked into the golf course landscape. I mean, you’re technically in Playa de las Americas, but you’d never know it from the serene bubble they’ve created here. The adults-only policy isn’t just a marketing gimmick either; it genuinely transforms the entire vibe. No splash contests in the pool, no kids running through the lobby at 7 AM – just this wonderfully calm atmosphere that lets you actually unwind.

The location is honestly brilliant if you know the area. Most people think of Playa de las Americas as this party central with British pubs and late-night chaos, but Las Madrigueras sits right on Golf Las Américas, which puts you in this quieter pocket where the fairways buffer all that noise. You can walk to the main strip if you want the action (it’s maybe 10-15 minutes), but you’re far enough away that you won’t hear the revelry at night. The resort itself wraps around the golf course in this low-rise, almost residential way – no towering concrete blocks here. The spa is where they really show off though. I’ve been to plenty of hotel spas that feel like afterthoughts, but this one sprawls across multiple levels with these treatment rooms that open onto private terraces. The hydrotherapy circuit alone is worth the splurge, especially if you time it right and go in the late afternoon when the light hits those infinity pools just so.

What really won me over was the attention to details you don’t expect. The rooms have these deep soaking tubs positioned so you can see the golf course while you’re in them (sounds cheesy, but it’s actually pretty magical at sunset), and the beds – honestly, I don’t know what thread count those sheets are, but I slept better there than I have in months. The restaurant situation is solid too, though I’d recommend venturing out to some of the local spots in Costa Adeje for dinner at least once. There’s this little Canarian place called El Rincón that locals hit up, maybe a 5-minute drive toward the coast. The resort’s breakfast spread is genuinely impressive though – proper jamón ibérico, fresh tropical fruits, and they make this incredible café con leche that I still think about. Fair warning: if you’re not into golf, you might feel a bit out of place during peak season when the course is buzzing, but honestly, even as someone who can barely hold a club properly, I found the whole scene pretty relaxing. The 9.3 rating makes total sense – it’s one of those places that just gets the fundamentals right without trying too hard to impress you.

  The management went above and beyond to make our stay extra special! The suite was very spacious and well presented throughout. The calming background music from the control panel speakers was a nice touch. The restaurant staff and food were top class. Breakfast service was efficient and full of smile from the friendly staff with a great selection of quality food. Having a direct access to the golf facilities was amazing. We definitely will come back. Truly a 5 star hotel!

  The vibe of the hotel is a bit classy, so if you expect something modern, it won't meet your expectations. However, everything else is great: it's quiet, has amazing service, and the staff are doing their best to make your stay comfortable.
  
  Despite these points, I still give them a 10 out of 10. The hotel is amazing, and I highly recommend it.
