Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of places around Santa Cruz, but this penthouse on Calle Los Llanos de Seis actually caught me off guard. You know that feeling when you step into a place and think “okay, this is way better than the photos”? That’s what happened here. The elevator ride up to the 32nd floor feels like it takes forever, but honestly, once those doors open and you see those floor-to-ceiling windows – I mean, the entire city just spreads out below you like some kind of postcard that doesn’t quit.

The apartment itself is properly modern, not that fake-sleek stuff you sometimes get. Everything works the way it should, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how rare that is. The kitchen’s got actual counter space (miracle!), and the living area flows naturally toward those massive windows. But here’s the thing – it’s the views that really sell it. During the day you can see all the way to the port, watch the ferries coming and going, and at night the whole city lights up like Christmas. I spent way too much time just sitting there with my coffee in the morning, watching Santa Cruz wake up below. The neighborhood’s pretty quiet too, which is perfect because you’re close enough to walk down to the main shopping areas around Calle Castillo, but far enough up the hill that you don’t get the street noise.

What I really appreciated was how the host actually knows their stuff about the area. They left proper recommendations – not just the touristy places, but where to get good tapas without paying resort prices. The building itself is solid, good security, and parking’s available which is honestly a godsend in this part of town. Check-in was smooth, none of that awkward waiting around wondering if you’re at the right place. Is it perfect? Well, the air conditioning took a while to cool the place down that first evening, and the wifi was a bit spotty in the bedroom, but nothing that ruined the experience. For a 4-star place with an 8.4 rating, it delivers exactly what you’d expect – maybe even a bit more. If you’re the type who likes to feel like you’re living in the city rather than just passing through, this place gets it right.

  The property is in an excellent area with easy access to supermarkets for essentials if intending to eat in. You are also very close to main bus station if you want to visit surrounding areas. You can also walk for around 20 to 25 minutes to a variety of museums and a really good craft and food market.
  The apartment is well stocked with essential kitchen tools and equipment. There is also a washing machine, dryer and dishwasher but no iron. The bed in the main bedroom is one of the best l have slept in.

  The views were exceptional.
  The double bed was the best l have slept on.
  Netflix is provided free and also had really good WiFi available.
  The quality of the decor and soft furnishings is very good and seating was comfortable.
  The front desk staff were very kind and helpful once we gained entry to the main building. There was also a very kind maintenance man who helped us gain entry to apartment as we had never used this app system before.

  Przestronny apartament na najwyższym piętrze jednej z dwóch bliźniaczych wież, położonych nad samym morzem w stolicy wyspy Santa Cruz.
  Widok, no cóż….to trzeba zobaczyć samemu. Szczególnie w nocy wydaje się być magiczny.
  Apartament jest duży i spokojnie 4 osobowa rodzina w nim odpocznie po dniu spędzonym na maszerowaniu uliczkami miasta.
  Dość dobrze wyposażony, ale wymaga remontu drobnych rzeczy, bo niestety niektóre elementy już się zużyły. Ale to detale, najwyżnieszym jest ten cudowny widok, i to, że apartament jest bardzo dobrze zlokalizowany. Blisko stąd wszędzie. Musicie spróbować.
