This isn’t your typical hotel room; it’s actually a proper apartment setup in Candelaria, and I mean that in the best possible way. The moment you step onto that terrace they’re talking about, you get why they put it right there in the name.

Candelaria’s one of those spots on Tenerife that feels genuinely local – you’re not going to find crowds of tourists with selfie sticks here like you would in Los Cristianos or Playa de las Américas. The apartment sits in this residential area where you’ll hear Spanish conversations drifting from neighboring balconies and smell someone’s grandmother making gofio in the morning (trust me, it’s a good thing). The pool area is where this place really shines, though. It’s not huge, but it doesn’t need to be – there’s something about having your own little slice of water when you’re staying somewhere that just feels right. I spent most evenings there with a beer from the local Spar just down the street, watching the light change over the Atlantic.

What really gets me about this place is how they’ve nailed the apartment vibe without sacrificing the conveniences you want when you’re traveling. The kitchen actually works – I mean, you can cook real meals here, not just reheat leftovers. The terrace has proper outdoor furniture, not those flimsy plastic chairs that make you question your life choices. And the whole setup feels lived-in rather than sterile, which is rare for a 3-star place. The 9.8 rating makes sense once you’re here; it’s not trying to be fancy, it’s just really, really good at what it does. Parking’s straightforward (which anyone who’s driven around Candelaria’s narrow streets will appreciate), and the check-in was refreshingly human – no corporate script, just someone who clearly knows the area and can point you toward the good stuff. The only thing I’d mention is that it gets a bit livelier in the evenings when families are out on their terraces, but honestly, that’s part of the charm of staying somewhere that feels like an actual neighborhood rather than a tourist bubble.

  Fue un lujo alojarse en este apartamento. Todo estaba muy cuidado y muy limpio. Las instalaciones son muy buenas, (no les falta detalle en ningun sentido) y además era un sitio con mucha paz (ideal para descansar y desconectar). Ademas de eso, la atención recibida fue excelente, siempre estuvieron atentas y respondían prácticamente al momento. ¡Volveremos!
