Look, I’ll be straight with you about Home2Book Garachico Ocean View & Wifi – it’s one of those places that actually delivers on what the name promises, which honestly doesn’t happen as often as you’d think. When I first pulled up to this spot in Las Cruces (not the New Mexico one, people – this is the tiny coastal village in Tenerife), I was expecting another oversold “ocean view” situation where you crane your neck to glimpse some blue between buildings. But no, you actually get proper views of the Atlantic from here, and I mean the kind where you can watch the waves crash against those dramatic black volcanic rocks that make this part of the Canary Islands so striking.

The thing about staying in Las Cruces is that most people rush straight to the more famous Garachico town center about ten minutes away, but honestly? You’re better off here. It’s quieter – you know, that good kind of quiet where you can actually hear the ocean instead of tour buses – and the Wi-Fi (since they bothered to put it in the name) is solid throughout the property. I spent a few mornings working from the terrace area, and the connection held up fine even during video calls, which is more than I can say for some five-star places I’ve stayed at. The rooms themselves feel properly thought out, not just decorated. There’s actual storage space, decent water pressure, and the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a jet engine, which matters more than you’d think during those warm Canarian summers.

What really won me over, though, was the little stuff that shows someone’s paying attention. The parking situation is actually manageable – no circling the block five times hoping for a miracle. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward, and the staff seemed to genuinely know the area rather than just reading from a script. When I asked about hiking trails along the coast, they pointed me toward this lesser-known path that connects to the old volcanic pools, which turned out to be absolutely worth it. The 8.8 rating makes sense once you’re there for a few days; it’s not trying to be something it’s not, just doing the fundamentals really well. And honestly, after dealing with overcrowded resorts in other parts of Tenerife, there’s something refreshing about a place that feels like it belongs in its setting rather than fighting against it. If you’re looking for a base to explore the northern coast without the tourist circus, this hits the sweet spot between comfort and authenticity.

  Well, it's a nice property with a huge veranda and quite a big house. According to pictures, I expected that house to be even bigger, but overall it met our expectations. It was equipped with all necessary amenities and had enough space for everything. Nice ocean view through banana plants. The backyard is quite nice and has enough sofas and the table to chill out.
  
  What could be improved: There is a garage below the house that is in use, and there is a closed door inside the house that has access to the house from that garage.
  The camera is looking at the entire backyard.

  Lovely house and location, with gorgeous views and a short walk to town but plenty of parking if you prefer to drive. Check in communication was excellent. Would recommend and stay here again.
  
  What could be improved: Road was quite busy but not visible as you are surrounded by banana plantation and you didn't really notice after a few days. There wasn't a lot of shelter from wind on the terrace which is probably great in summer but brought temperature down a bit in January.

  We liked the house itself, lovely terrace, friendly and helpfull host, relaxing gorgeous view to banana plantations and ocean. Location is great as it close to Garachico (2 km) and other attractions in this region. Right across the street is a quiet good fish restaurant for lunch only.
  
  What could be improved: Perhaps a swimming pool, or jacuzzi would be not bad to have. For us, the road was too close, busy and noisy sometimes. Lack of privacy, as on terrace no visual protection from the side street and neighboring houses.

  What could be improved: The fact that towels and sheets werent changed for a week. Yes we could wash them but had no other to use until they were dry. Rest was perfect for us

  La casa es increible y tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unos días inolvidables. Estaba muy limpia y las camas eran muy cómodas. La zona exterior y la barbacoa son un lujo. El coche se puede aparcar en la puerta de la casa. Hacer el check-in es muy cómodo al recoger las llaves en un candado en la puerta con las instrucciones que te envian. Si volvemos a Tenerife, repetiremos.

  Przestronny, wygodny dom. Cudowny taras z widokiem na ocean i góry, na którym codziennie jedliśmy śniadanie — piękny początek dnia 🙂 Przemili i pomocni właściciele. Bardzo dobra lokalizacja: blisko do pięknego Garachico, a jeszcze bliżej do sympatycznej knajpki Tasca Los Merros, gdzie można zakończyć udany dzień przy piwku w towarzystwie uroczej kaczki piżmowej 🙂
