You know what caught me off guard about Home2Book Elegant Apartment Santa Cruz Center? It’s actually elegant – I mean, I’ve stayed in plenty of places that throw that word around, but this one delivers on it. The moment you walk in, there’s this clean, modern vibe that feels more like a friend’s well-designed apartment than a typical hotel room. The building itself sits right in the heart of Santa Cruz, and I’m talking proper center – you can literally walk to Plaza de España in about eight minutes (I timed it because I’m weird like that).

The location is honestly what makes this place shine. You’re surrounded by these narrow streets filled with local tapas bars and cafes that tourists haven’t completely discovered yet. There’s this little bakery called Panadería San Sebastián just around the corner that does incredible pastries – the owner, María, will remember your order after two visits. The apartment feels like a real home base for exploring, not just a place to crash. I loved that you could grab groceries at the Mercadona down the street and actually cook something if you wanted to skip the restaurant scene for a night. The kitchen is properly equipped too, not just a mini-fridge and sad hotplate situation you get in some places.

What really impressed me was how quiet it stays despite being so central. The windows are solid – you might catch some street noise during the day, but nothing that’ll wake you up. Actually, the sound you’ll hear most is the ocean if you score one of the higher floors, which is pretty magical when you’re drifting off to sleep. The Wi-Fi is strong (crucial for me since I was working remotely), and the whole check-in process was smooth – they send you clear instructions with photos, so you’re not wandering around looking confused with your luggage. Parking can be a bit tricky in this area, but there’s a public garage about three blocks away that’s not too expensive by Tenerife standards. The 8.3 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not luxury resort territory, but it nails everything that actually matters when you’re staying somewhere. I’d definitely book it again, especially if I wanted to feel like I was living in Santa Cruz rather than just visiting it.

  What could be improved: There are no parking lots nearby, next parking is 2 km away. I asked if there was a possibility to check in earlier I’ve got told no because it needed to be cleaned which is ok. But when I’ve arrived it wasn’t clean at all! The windows probably were never cleaned before. The trash in the bathroom was smeared with poop!!! Disgusting!!!!! And it is very loud at night, you can literally hear the people upstairs walking! After texting the owner that it wasn’t clean I have gotten no response! + there is mold in the bathroom! Just don’t go there the customer service is very bad the apartment too!

  What could be improved: 1. Ванна для красоты. Вы не сможете ее набрать. Когда наберете 1/5 ванны вода пойдет холодная. И нужно ждать минут 30 для следующей маленькой партии горячей воды либо носить в кастрюлях. Если вы ставите бойлер и нужно ждать, пока он нагреет воду, зачем вы ставите ванну, зная, что в ней можно полежать только если без воды?
  
  2. Мы приехали на час раньше и нам не разрешили оставить где-нибудь вещи. Сказали ждать ровно 15.00
  Зачем тогда спрашивать 10 раз во всех возможных сообщениях, во сколько я приеду, если все равно раньше даже на час заселиться не смогу?

  What could be improved: Si tuviera que poner alguna pega seria que había momentos en que había un poco de ruido a alguna hora en concreto,pero para estar en dicha zona tampoco tanto

  La ubicación es realmente excepcional, está muy céntrico y se puede ir caminando sin problema a todos sitios. Llegar al intercambiador [ estación de autobuses ] es sólo cuestión de escasos 10 min. a pie, lo cual es todo un lujo ya que hay muchos destinos a los que llega en fácilmente en bus a un precio muy asequible. Por otra parte, el apartamento es idéntico a las fotografías, ya que cuando la propiedad alquila un gran número de apartamentos en un edificio, se agradece que en cada reserva especifiquen las fotografías exactas del apartamento reservado. Por lo demás, todo perfectamente equipado, destacando la comodidad de la cama.
  
  What could be improved: El único pero, sería la duración del agua caliente, que al principio durante los primeros 5 min. es muy caliente pero pasado ese tiempo comienza a ponerse templada decrecientemente.

  Świetna lokalizacja, sporo miejsca w apartamencie, dla mnie łóżko było wygodne, świetna obsługa klienta, byłam 10 minut przed tym jak zapowiedziałam, zadzwoniłam o 23.00 po wsparcie i dostałam ją natychmiastowo.
