It’s actually perched right where you can catch those incredible Atlantic views without dealing with the tourist madness you get closer to Santa Cruz. I mean, Candelaria isn’t exactly a household name for most visitors, but honestly – that’s part of its charm. You’re getting authentic Tenerife here, not the resort bubble version.

The hotel itself is what I’d call pleasantly surprising for a 3-star place. The rooms are clean and modern enough (though don’t expect luxury finishes), but here’s the thing – when you wake up and pull back those curtains, you’re looking straight out at the ocean with this perfect view of the coastline stretching toward the capital. The staff actually knows the area too, which is rarer than you’d think. They’ll point you toward the little family-run restaurants down by the waterfront instead of just handing you a generic tourist map. And parking? No stress there – there’s space, which anyone who’s driven around the Canary Islands will appreciate.

What really works about this place is the location itself. Candelaria has this working-town vibe during the day (it gets busy around the basilica, especially on weekends), but evenings are surprisingly peaceful. You can walk down to the black sand beach – it’s not a postcard-perfect white sand situation, but it’s got character and the waves are pretty decent if you’re into that. The promenade along the water is perfect for those after-dinner walks, and you’ll find yourself sharing it mostly with locals rather than tour groups. I’ll be honest, the hotel doesn’t have a ton of amenities – no fancy pool or spa – but at this price point and with that 8.9 rating, it’s clearly doing something right. The breakfast is solid (local fruits, decent coffee, nothing fancy but it’ll fuel your day), and the whole operation just feels… reliable, I guess? Like they’ve figured out how to give you what you actually need without all the fluff. If you’re the type who wants to experience a bit of real island life while still having a comfortable base and those morning ocean views, this spot in Candelaria delivers without breaking the bank.

  De studio was heel netjes en er was aan vanalles gedacht: peper, zout, koffie, koffiefilters, thee,… alles was aanwezig. De eigenaars waren heel lief en behulpzaam. Een probleem met het warm water werd snel opgelost, met nog een attentie erbij.
  In het gebouw was het heel rustig. Er waren voldoende winkels vlak in de buurt.

  – La ubicación está genial. El que esté ubicado en casi 1⁰ línea de mar hace que sea un lugar muy cómodo y relajante.
  
  – Está el apartamento equipado completamente, con amplia variedad de utensilios de cocina, electrodomésticos y hasta la televisión es una Smart TV.
  
  – También recalco la amabilidad que tuvieron de poner productos para cocina e higiene como aceite, vinagre, azúcar, sal, gel de baño, papel higiénico, etc.
  
  – Posee plaza de aparcamiento privada, eso ayuda mucho y más en una zona como Candelaria en la que se dificulta el aparcar.
  
  What could be improved: – A pesar de que hay una lavandería cercana, la falta de lavadora es un hecho a tener en cuenta.
  
  – Falta de algún sistema de aire acondicionado o ventilador de torre para los días de mucho calor.

  В квартирі було все необхідне, навіть аптечка. Вигляд з вікна прямо на океан, до центру міста 10 хвилин, близько до пляжів та супермаркету. А ще варто відмітити басейн, великий та прямо на прибудинковій території

  Das Appartment lage zental. Ganz in der Nähe gab es verschiedene kleine Lebensmittelgeschäft.
  Ganz wichtig eigener Parkplatz.
  Das Bad war nicht so moderern, abergut ausgeleuchtet und das Duschwasser ist gut abgelaufen
