Hotel Description

You know what caught me off guard about Holiday Feel B? The elevator ride up to the sixth floor gives you this sneaky preview of what you’re in for – through the building’s windows, you start seeing glimpses of the Atlantic stretching out toward the horizon. By the time you reach apartment 636B, you’re honestly not prepared for how that view just opens up in front of you.

The studio itself is one of those places that feels bigger than it actually is, if that makes sense. I mean, it’s compact – don’t get me wrong – but whoever designed this space actually thought about how people live, not just how many beds they could squeeze in. The kitchenette has everything you need (and a decent-sized fridge, which honestly matters more than you’d think), and the bathroom’s got one of those rainfall showerheads that actually works properly. What really sold me though was the balcony situation. It’s not huge, but it faces west, so you get these absolutely ridiculous sunsets over the water. I found myself timing my evenings around them, which probably says something about how good they are.

Tacoronte’s this funny little town that most tourists sort of zip past on their way to the bigger spots, but that’s actually what makes staying here interesting. Calle Mesa del Mar is quiet – like, genuinely quiet, not just “quiet for a tourist area” quiet. You’re close enough to the TF-5 that getting to Puerto de la Cruz or even Santa Cruz is no big deal (maybe twenty minutes of easy driving), but far enough from the main tourist zones that you feel like you’re seeing a bit of real Tenerife. There’s this little local market that happens twice a week just down the hill, and honestly, the produce there puts most hotel breakfast spreads to shame. The building itself is solid – good soundproofing, reliable wifi, and parking that doesn’t require a degree in spatial engineering to navigate.

Look, it’s not going to win any design awards, and if you’re the type who needs a concierge and room service, this probably isn’t your speed. But for what it is – a well-thought-out base for exploring the north side of the island – it really delivers. The 8.2 rating feels about right; it’s the kind of place that does the basics really well without trying to be something it’s not. Plus, and this might sound silly, but there’s something satisfying about staying somewhere that feels like it was designed by someone who actually travels, not just someone who builds hotels.

  The view of the Tiede is spectacular! The appartement is completely renovated.

  The view is just breathtaking! You can’t really tell from the photos, but you can search Teide volcano right from your balcony. Drinking the complementary glass of vine there was like the scene from the movie. The village is very small with nothing in there except for the small grocery shop. The beach with volcanic sand is just in 2 minutes walk (you need to go under the tunnel). Perfect for the peaceful stay.
  Everything inside was clear and comfortable, it feels like the apartment was freshly renovated. You can find everything you need from iron and washing machine to beach towels
