The heated pool is genuinely the star here (I mean, it’s literally in the name, so it better be good, right?). What I love is that it’s warm enough year-round, which matters more than you’d think – even in Tenerife, those winter evenings can get chilly, and there’s nothing worse than a cold pool when you’re trying to unwind. The complex itself has that typical Canarian apartment feel – white walls, terracotta tiles, you know the vibe – but it’s well-maintained and surprisingly quiet considering you’re so close to the golf course. Actually, speaking of the golf course, if you’re into that sort of thing, you’re literally a two-minute walk from some decent greens, and the pro shop guys are pretty friendly if you need equipment.

What really sold me on this place was the practical stuff that nobody talks about in those glossy hotel photos. Parking is easy (trust me, this matters when you’re hauling luggage in 30-degree heat), the apartment B20 has decent-sized windows that actually open properly for those nights when you want fresh air instead of AC, and the kitchen setup is functional enough that you can make proper meals if you’re trying to save money or just want to eat something other than tourist-trap paella. The nearest Mercadona is about a ten-minute drive down toward San Miguel proper, and honestly, that little town is worth exploring – way more authentic than the resort areas, with some tapas bars that serve locals rather than just tourists. The only minor gripe I have is that the Wi-Fi can be a bit spotty in the evenings when everyone’s streaming Netflix, but let’s be real – you’re in the Canary Islands, maybe disconnect for a bit? The rating of 8 out of 10 feels about right to me – it’s not fancy, but it delivers exactly what it promises, and sometimes that’s better than places that overpromise and underdeliver.

  I want to start by saying how great the apartment was. Ground floor, ample room, clean, all utensils there .. microwave, 2 ring induction hob, sandwich toaster (we used to do toast as no toaster), dishwasher, fridge and small freezer, washing machine, iron and ironing board, aircon unit, hoover, even spare batteries if needed for large smart TV remote etc (superb provisions). The BED, OMG, so comfortable, just perfect.
  We also managed to park the hire car in the small-ish carpark on site, every day, without any issues at all.

  De communicatie met Island Prime was prima, we hebben een aantal keer een probleem gehad en daar werd direct op gereageerd.
  De inrichting van het appartement was prima, alles was aanwezig, bedden waren heel goed.
