It’s actually tucked away in La Caleta, which honestly feels like a different world from the tourist chaos up in Costa Adeje proper. I mean, you’re literally steps from Playa La Enramada – and I’m talking about one of those rare Tenerife beaches where you can still hear yourself think. The hotel sits right on this quiet stretch where the locals from Adeje actually come to swim, which tells you something.

The place has that solid 4-star feel without trying too hard to be fancy. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward (no upselling or complicated resort fees), and the staff genuinely seemed to know the area – like, they’ll actually tell you the best time to hit Siam Park is right when it opens, or that the little seafood place down toward the old fishing port does better paella than the touristy spots everyone raves about. The rooms are what you’d expect – comfortable, clean, decent balconies – but honestly, you’re not going to spend much time inside anyway. What really works here is the location intelligence. You’re close enough to walk to Costa Adeje if you want the nightlife and shopping, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the constant stream of tour buses and street vendors. The pool area gets busy around midday (especially in winter when half of Northern Europe descends on the Canary Islands), but mornings are pretty peaceful.

  This was our first visit to Tenerife and couldn't have picked a better hotel. The hotel is beautifully designed and well maintained. There were enough pools and activities for the kids to enjoy while we rested and soaked in the sun. We went for half board and were very impressed with the spread which kept on changing everyday. The pool tables, table tennis table and small arcade room are nice touches. The staff at the reception were very helpful and always attended to you with a smile. The waiting staff at the restaurant were good and had a few superstars like Julian Peres and Bryan who went above and beyond to deliver a good service.
  Their manager a person called Alberto who stands at the entrance to the restaurant however was not a pleasant character. Let's just say he acts like someone who has lost interest in the job and does not care about customers. You realize that it just takes one person to spoil your stay but luckily his staff came to the rescue.

  Staff upon checkin were excellent. The lady who checked me in was so professional and is a credit to this hotel. I didn't get her name. She responded to my prior requests via email…she deserves a mention.
