The four-star hotel sits right in the heart of Playa de las Americas, and honestly, the staff greets you like they’ve been expecting you all day. There’s something refreshingly unpretentious about the whole setup — it’s polished without trying too hard, which I actually appreciate more than those over-the-top resort lobbies you sometimes encounter in Tenerife.

Location & Neighborhood

Here’s the thing about Calle Meandro — you’re literally steps away from everything that matters in Playa de las Americas, but you’re not drowning in the chaos. The beach is a quick two-minute walk, and I mean the good part of the beach where locals actually hang out, not just the tourist strips. You can easily stroll to dozens of restaurants and bars, but when you want to escape back to your room, it’s quiet enough that you’ll actually sleep. The recent guests weren’t kidding when they rated the location an 8.0 — it really is that sweet spot between accessible and peaceful.

The Rooms

The rooms at Granada II feel more spacious than you’d expect, especially considering how central everything is. What struck me most was the attention to practical details — proper lighting for reading, enough outlets where you actually need them, and a bathroom that doesn’t feel like an afterthought. The balconies (and most rooms have them) give you just enough of a view to remind you you’re in the Canary Islands without being so spectacular that you feel guilty for not staring at them all day.

The Experience

You know what really sets this place apart? It’s designed for people who want to explore Tenerife, not just sit by a pool all week. The staff actually knows the island — they’ll tell you which hiking trails are worth your time and which local restaurants don’t just cater to tourists. I mean, they’re not trying to keep you trapped in the hotel spending money, which feels refreshingly honest. The whole vibe is more like staying with knowledgeable friends than being processed through a vacation machine.

That 9.7 rating makes perfect sense once you spend a few days here, especially if you’re traveling as a couple. Granada II strikes this perfect balance — romantic enough for special dinners and quiet evenings, but not so isolated that you feel cut off from the energy of Playa de las Americas. You can walk hand-in-hand to the waterfront for sunset, grab late-night tapas without needing a taxi, or just enjoy each other’s company on your balcony with a bottle of local wine.   The apartment was very spacious, clean and nicely furnished. The area was quiet and the pool area was also very nice.

  The property has been upgraded to a very good standard. Lovely and quiet even though it’s on a road. Good size pool area and plenty of beds. The apartment had lots hot water and lovey touch to have soap, shampoo etc, dishwasher and washing tabs too, the bed was very comfortable and the property has Netflix’s. It’s on the 2nd floor but there is a lift that takes you practically to the front door. The major plus is having the roof terrace as well as the balcony as it gets the sun (if out) from 9am till 6.30 (sunset) in January which was a massive plus. I would definitely stay in this property again.

  Just home after a great week spent in this modern apartment home away from home. Exceptional communication from start to finish nothing to fault apartment is finished to a high standard in a nice quiet area with only a 20 minute walk down to the main strip of Las Americas. We will definitely be back to this apartment on our next visit to Tenerife thank you again!

  Le contact avec Eva était très agréable. L'appartement est décoré avec goût et avec des matériaux de qualité. Literie excellente. Terrasse ensoleillée toute la journée. Seul petit bémol, la taille de la table de la terrasse ne permet pas de déjeuner. Il serait appréciable d'en avoir une plus grande mais c'est un détail.

  Kirándulásokhoz nekünk klassz kiindulópont volt, és nagyon kényelmes, jól felszerelt apartman. Helyben a medence is jó, szupermarket kicsi van helyben, igazán nagy is csak kb 10 perc séta. Strand kb 20perc kényelmes tempóban gyalog rengeteg egész jó étteremmel. A medence melletti büfét csak italokra ajánlom.
