Hotel Description

You know what? I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels in Playa de las Americas over the years, and Granada II honestly surprised me. The thing about Calle Meandro is that it’s tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the absolute chaos of the main strip, but you’re still maybe a seven-minute walk from all the action. I mean, you can hear the ocean if you really listen, though it’s not one of those right-on-the-beach places.

What really got me was how the staff actually seemed to know their stuff – like, the guy at reception didn’t just hand me a tourist map, he marked out this little shortcut to Los Cristianos that I never would’ve found otherwise. The rooms are what you’d expect from a solid 4-star, nothing too fancy but everything works properly (which, honestly, isn’t always a given in this price range). The air conditioning is actually quiet, thank god, because some of these places sound like a jet engine all night. And the beds – I’m picky about mattresses – were firm enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been sleeping on a cloud of marshmallows.

Here’s the thing that really sets it apart though: the pool area doesn’t feel like you’re swimming in a fishbowl. You’ve got these little corners where you can actually read a book without someone’s kid cannonballing two feet away. The whole place has this sort of… I don’t know, relaxed vibe? Like it’s not trying too hard to be something it’s not. Parking was surprisingly easy too – there’s a garage situation that doesn’t require a degree in engineering to navigate, which is more than I can say for most places around here. The only minor thing is that the WiFi gets a bit spotty in the evenings when everyone’s streaming Netflix, but honestly, that’s pretty much everywhere in the Canaries. If you’re looking for something that feels more like a proper hotel than a tourist factory, and you don’t need to literally roll out of bed onto the sand, Granada II is actually a really solid choice. The 9.6 rating makes sense once you’ve been there.

  The apartment was very spacious, clean and nicely furnished. The area was quiet and the pool area was also very nice.

  The property has been upgraded to a very good standard. Lovely and quiet even though it’s on a road. Good size pool area and plenty of beds. The apartment had lots hot water and lovey touch to have soap, shampoo etc, dishwasher and washing tabs too, the bed was very comfortable and the property has Netflix’s. It’s on the 2nd floor but there is a lift that takes you practically to the front door. The major plus is having the roof terrace as well as the balcony as it gets the sun (if out) from 9am till 6.30 (sunset) in January which was a massive plus. I would definitely stay in this property again.

  Just home after a great week spent in this modern apartment home away from home. Exceptional communication from start to finish nothing to fault apartment is finished to a high standard in a nice quiet area with only a 20 minute walk down to the main strip of Las Americas. We will definitely be back to this apartment on our next visit to Tenerife thank you again!

  Le contact avec Eva était très agréable. L'appartement est décoré avec goût et avec des matériaux de qualité. Literie excellente. Terrasse ensoleillée toute la journée. Seul petit bémol, la taille de la table de la terrasse ne permet pas de déjeuner. Il serait appréciable d'en avoir une plus grande mais c'est un détail.

  Kirándulásokhoz nekünk klassz kiindulópont volt, és nagyon kényelmes, jól felszerelt apartman. Helyben a medence is jó, szupermarket kicsi van helyben, igazán nagy is csak kb 10 perc séta. Strand kb 20perc kényelmes tempóban gyalog rengeteg egész jó étteremmel. A medence melletti büfét csak italokra ajánlom.
