Look, I’ve stayed at my fair share of places in Costa Adeje, but Garden City PREMIUM actually surprised me – and I mean that in the best way possible. When you first pull up to Avenida de los Pueblos, you’re thinking “okay, another apartment complex,” but then you get inside and realize this place has something most of the cookie-cutter hotels in the area are missing. The sea view from the balcony? It’s not just marketing speak – you’re literally looking straight out over Playa Fañabe, and honestly, I spent way too much time just sitting there with my morning coffee watching the windsurfers set up down below.

What I really loved about this place is how it sits right in that sweet spot between the touristy madness of Las Américas and the quieter residential vibe of Costa Adeje proper. You’re maybe a three-minute walk to the beach – I timed it because I’m weird like that – but you’re not dealing with the constant street noise and party crowds. The apartment itself feels like someone actually lives there, you know? The kitchen has proper knives (hotel people will understand why this matters), there’s decent water pressure in the shower, and the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing on your roof. Small victories, but they add up when you’re trying to relax.

The whole Ciudad Jardín area is pretty underrated, honestly. Most people beeline straight for the big resort strips, but this neighborhood has character. There’s a little Mercadona about ten minutes away if you want to grab groceries and actually save some money on meals, and the local bus stop connects you to everywhere else on the island without the hassle of renting a car – though parking here is totally fine if you do drive. I ended up walking to dinner most nights because there are some genuinely good tapas places tucked away in the surrounding streets that you’d never find unless you’re staying somewhere like this. The whole setup just works better than those massive resort complexes where you feel like cattle being herded around. Sure, you don’t get the pool scene or the entertainment program, but if you’re the type who’d rather explore Tenerife than be entertained by it, this place gives you that perfect home base feeling without sacrificing the view or the location.
