Hotel Description

You know what’s funny about Galería de arte? The name literally means “art gallery” and honestly, that’s exactly what this place feels like – but in the best possible way. I stumbled across this 4-star gem on Calle Hercules in Arona, and let me tell you, it’s one of those spots that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something special that the big tour groups haven’t caught onto yet. The building itself has this creative, almost boutique vibe that’s refreshing after seeing so many cookie-cutter hotels around Tenerife’s southern coast.

What really got me was the attention to detail throughout the place. I mean, you walk in and there’s actual artwork on the walls (shocking, I know, given the name), but it’s thoughtfully curated stuff, not just generic hotel art. The rooms have this clean, modern aesthetic with little artistic touches that make you want to Instagram everything – which, let’s be honest, we all do anyway. The staff genuinely seems to care about what they’re doing, and check-in was smooth as butter. I was there during shoulder season in October, so I can’t speak to the summer madness, but the whole place had this relaxed, unhurried feeling that made me actually want to hang around the lobby with a coffee.

Location-wise, you’re in Arona proper, which means you’re getting a more authentic Canarian experience than if you were stuck down in the resort areas of Los Cristianos or Playa de las Américas. Don’t get me wrong – those beaches are gorgeous and only about a 10-minute drive away – but there’s something nice about staying somewhere that feels less touristy. You can actually walk to local bars and restaurants where Spanish is the primary language, and the prices reflect that too. Parking was surprisingly easy for this part of the island, which anyone who’s driven around Tenerife will appreciate. The 9.1 rating this place has? Yeah, I get it. It’s not trying to be a massive all-inclusive resort with everything under the sun, but what it does, it does really well. The rooms are comfortable, the common areas invite you to linger, and there’s this sense that someone actually thought about the guest experience rather than just checking boxes on a hospitality manual.

  Clean, great art. Nice place. Parrots outside of the balcony. Nice pool, water was not very warm.

  It is well maintained apartment with good mountain view, which is located in Pedro hotel site with restaurant and swimming pool, it's easy to travel to Los Cristianos by bus.
  The host is kind and easy to communicate.

  There was everything as listed, o lot more stuff in kitchen, which we liked as we were cooking by ourselves. Basic salt/pepper also there. It is within complex of hotel, where can you access the pooll, which is long enough for swimminf (in the morning/evening) when there are not tourists. AC is strong, which is going to be necessary, as even in October, it is hot.
  
  What could be improved: For us it was the only sheet and the bed a bit too small, but that is subjective I would say.

  Everything. Excellent owner, I made a mistake with my booking, he didn't see a problem at all, get sorted quickly.
  The apartment has everything that you need, even a coffee maker or orange juice squeezer, shower gel, shampoo, beach towels, everything!! Clean, nicely decorated with owners' paintings .Situated in Palia Don Pedro complex, which maybe is not a 5 stars hotel but quite, safe and apart from the busy and not that safe areas. Costa Silencio is also great for quiet and not party people like we are. Just go there and mix with locals!!!

  This apartment is equipped with everything you might need for a stay. The location is quiet. The apartment is nicely furbished and decorated. There are beach towels, several bathroom towels, kitchen utensils and appliances, and even small things like some seasoning or tea and coffee which make a huge difference, as when you buy it during holidays, you'll never use it. The bed is comfortable bathroom of a decent size, running warm water, and a stunning view from the balcony overseeing volcano.

  What could be improved: the address is not easy to be retrieved on GoogleMaps and the owner did not provide proper directions (in due time) on how to get to the property and where is the car park. It was complicated to communicate with the owner as they do not speak English and they are not fast replying on the booking.com messaging platform.
  
  Big issues with the smell from the pipes, water blockages that stinks and the fact that the toilet needs many flushes after being used, as there is not enough water inside the basin so you must flush several times after one use. Extremely hot in the flat because it was not insulated properly, being on the last floor of the building.

  Appartement très bien équipé, on se sent comme à la maison 😉 tout est conforme. Le parking est en plus.
  
  What could be improved: Pas grand chose à dire, peut être juste la chasse d’eau qui a un faible débit, pas très écologique puisqu’il faut la tirer plusieurs fois pour pouvoir tout évacuer. L’appartement est dans un complexe hôtelier et certains clients en all inclusive étaient très bruyants à la piscine et se baignaient tout habillés visiblement éméchés sans que personne ne leur dise rien.
