You know what caught me off guard about Finca Pisaverde? The absolute silence when you first walk onto the property. I mean, you’re technically still in Tacoronte, but once you turn onto that little Transversal 1ª Tagoro street, it’s like someone hit the mute button on the world. The place sits tucked away in this green pocket that honestly feels more like staying at someone’s incredibly stylish country home than a hotel – which, given that “finca” literally means estate, makes perfect sense.

The building itself has this understated elegance that screams quality without being flashy about it. You’ll notice the attention to detail immediately – the way the local stone blends with modern touches, how the gardens seem to flow naturally into the surrounding landscape. What really won me over was the staff’s approach; they’re not hovering or overly formal, but they clearly know their stuff about the area. The woman at reception (I wish I’d caught her name) gave me these incredibly specific directions to a hiking trail that most tourists never find, and she was spot-on about the timing – said it’d take about forty minutes, and it was exactly that.

Being honest, the location is what makes this place special. You’re about a fifteen-minute drive from the coast, but up here in the hills, you get these incredible views over the Atlantic that change completely depending on the weather. On clear mornings – and there are plenty of them – you can see all the way to the other islands floating on the horizon. The whole setup feels deliberately peaceful; even during what the locals call the busy season, you rarely hear much beyond birds and the occasional car winding up the mountain roads. Parking is actually generous here, which sounds mundane until you’ve tried finding a spot in Santa Cruz or Puerto de la Cruz. The rooms have this perfect balance of rustic charm and modern comfort – thick walls that keep things cool during the day, but with excellent WiFi and surprisingly good water pressure. I spent most evenings on my terrace with a glass of the local wine they stock, watching the sun set over the valley below. The whole experience feels authentic in a way that’s getting harder to find – not because they’re trying to be authentic, but because they just are.

  Wir sind total nett empfangen worden und die Hilfsbereitschaft und Freundlichkeit der Eigentümer war unglaublich. Die Wohnung war absolut sauber und ordentlich und deutlich geräumiger als erwartet. Auch der Garten war riesig und man hatte einen freien Blick aufs Meer und auf den Teide. Den Teide konnte man sogar durch ein gorßes Fenster sehen, während man im Bett lag.
  Wir würden die Finca ohne wenn und aber sofort weiterempfehlen.

  Superbe séjour dans une maison Canarienne typique. Excellent emplacement pour découvrir le Nord de Ténérife qui est beaucoup plus authentique que le sud trop touristique à notre goût. Sublimes randonnées à faire dans le parc d'Anaga. La maison est très agréable, avec une vue sur le Teide incroyable et elle est très bien équipée. Un immense merci à nos hôtes qui ont été très flexibles sur les horaires d'arrivée et de départ. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié leurs précieux conseils pour les visites et découvertes et les délicieux avocats, oeufs et bouteille de vin offerts à notre arrivée. Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse, séjour incroyable !

  La maison est typique Canarienne et toute équipée avec le matériel nécessaire. Elle a été complètement rénovée et la cour est magnifique, car on peut profiter du coucher de soleil le soir. Les hôtes sont donc très grande gentillesse et nous ont donné des fruits et légumes de leur jardin.

  Nuestra estancia muy agradable. Desde el momento de la llegada, me sentí bienvenido gracias a la amabilidad del anfitrión y la atención a cada detalle. La casa estaba impecable, bien equipada y decorada con buen gusto, lo que creó un ambiente acogedor y relajante. La ubicación era perfecta, con fácil acceso a las principales atracciones de la zona, y disfrutamos mucho de la tranquilidad del entorno.
  Las vistas al Teide y al mar, el espacio exterior grande, tranquilo. Lo recomendamos sin duda
