This four-star property sits on Camino el Bollullo, which sounds fancy but is really just a winding country road that leads you away from the tourist crowds and into proper Tenerife countryside. The moment you pull up (and yes, there’s parking right on site, which is a godsend), you’re looking out over banana plantations toward the Atlantic, with Mount Teide looming behind you.

The Setting and Surroundings

I mean, couples absolutely love this place — and I get why they rated the location a 9.4. You’re technically still in La Orotava, but it feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere in the best possible way. The finca is surrounded by working farms and traditional Canarian architecture, so you get that authentic island experience without sacrificing comfort. What’s brilliant is that you can walk down into the historic center of La Orotava in about 20 minutes if you want to explore the colonial mansions and cobblestone streets, but up here? It’s just you, the views, and the sound of wind through the palm trees.

Accommodation and Comfort

The rooms here aren’t huge, but they’re thoughtfully designed with that rustic-meets-modern vibe that actually works. Each room has its own character — some face the ocean, others look toward the mountains — and the traditional Canarian touches like exposed wooden beams and local stone details make it feel authentic rather than touristy. The beds are seriously comfortable (important after all those hiking trails), and you’ll find little touches that show someone’s actually thought about what travelers need, like proper reading lights and enough outlets for your devices.

Dining and Local Flavors

The restaurant focuses on local ingredients — I’m talking about produce that’s literally grown on the property and in the surrounding farms. Breakfast features tropical fruits you can see growing outside your window, and dinner showcases traditional Canarian dishes with a contemporary twist. What I really appreciated was how they work with local suppliers, so you’re tasting wines from nearby vineyards and cheeses from island producers. It’s not fancy for the sake of being fancy — it just makes sense when you’re surrounded by all this incredible local agriculture.

  The apartment's location, with its fantastic view, was adorable. We had enough space and enjoyed our stay. It was just a short walk to the ocean and a really nice restaurant was nearby.

  The location is perfect for walking at seeside. Easy and safe parking at the garden.The city of Puerto de la Cruz is 40 minutes walking time through banana plantation. We have enjoyed it. The garden with nice exotic plants and clean pool is petfect for chill. The view of the ocean from the terrace is unbreathable.

  Quiet location, own pool (shared with 2 other apartments), veranda with table and chairs so we could eat outside most of the time. Great location to tour north of the island, though the whole island is accessible within about 90 mins max.

  Fantastic location, away from the masses of tourists in the north of the island. We loved our stay, we were two friends traveling together mid/end November.
  Small Finca with 3 self catering apartments, 2*1 bed and 1*2 bed.
  Closed off area with its own pool just for the guests in the Finca and a lovely garden, view over pool and garden and over the sea.
  It's a quiet and relaxed place, just what we needed. You can hear the waves crashing onto the cliffs a bit further down the road, birds are singing, goats are coming up and down the road every day to go grazing in the hills, it's a super chill and relaxed space.
  Safe parking on site, big plus.
  
  Gardeners/care takers come in mon-fri, really lovely people, super nice and friendly.
  
  Ana is a super attentive host and available on text if things happen. I managed to lock us out, she helped super fast. So, note to guests: leave the key in the door on the outside when you're on the terrace/balcony, so you don't do what I did. 😁
  
  Another note: the road to the Finca and the beach is TINY and not in the best shape. It's a one car at a time kinda road, so you have to be a good driver to deal with this – there will be backing up and down a steep road to make room for other cars. We were there in the off season (sorta), during the week it wasn't that bad, but weekends were busy-busy, patience is key here.
  It's worth it to walk down to the beach from the Finca just to avoid the €5 parking fee at the beach and the driving down that road.

  One of the best locations – quiet and rural – beautiful views and with a sweet little pool. Very well kept and clean.

  The finca is beautiful. It’s in an era that has bad roads but it’s worth it with a beautiful beach down the streets about 800 m. The Entire era is enchanting. The staff is very sweet and we are talking about the gardener. He was the sweetest guy who really made our stay worth while.
