Playa de San Juan is one of those spots that locals have been quietly enjoying while tourists flock to the busier beaches, and the hotel’s position here is actually brilliant. You’re close enough to hear the ocean — I mean, really close — but set back just enough to avoid the crowds that can overwhelm beachfront properties. The couples who rate this location so highly (and I can see why they give it a 9.9) probably appreciate that you can walk to authentic tapas bars that haven’t been completely discovered yet. There’s this little place about five minutes away where the locals still outnumber the visitors, which tells you everything you need about the area.

The pool area is where I spent most of my downtime, and it’s sized perfectly for the property — not so big that it feels impersonal, but spacious enough that you’re not bumping into other guests. The staff here actually seem to know what they’re doing, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how rare that is.

Rooms & Comfort

My room had that clean, uncluttered aesthetic that feels very Spanish but without the tourist clichés. The bed was genuinely comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the bathroom had those little upgrades that make a difference — good water pressure, quality toiletries, proper lighting for getting ready. What I really appreciated was the balcony space — not huge, but enough room for morning coffee while looking out over the grounds. The air conditioning worked quietly and effectively, which matters more than you might think when you’re trying to sleep after a day in the Spanish sun.

That 9.9 rating isn’t an accident — this place gets the fundamentals right while adding those extra touches that turn a good stay into a memorable one. It’s the kind of hotel where you actually want to spend time on the property, not just use it as a place to crash between beach days.   Miejsce trochę na uboczu miejscowości, blisko lokalnej plaży, idealne na wypoczynek od miejskiego zgiełku, taras z leżakami i małym basenem w ekspozycji na południe. Mieszkanie bardzo dobrze wyposażone.

  Alles sauber, alles neu, sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Es hat alles was man braucht. Wir haben es geliebt!

  Prachtig huisje midden in een bananenplantage. Zeer vriendelijke gastheer die je overal bij helpt en voorziet van lekkere bananen en papaya. Als je iets te kort komt vult de gastheer het direct aan. Diverse restaurants en terrasjes op loopafstand in het dorpje San Juan. Verder is het een heerlijk rustige omgeving en ook fijn om vanuit daar wandelingen te maken. Een heerlijk terras met eettafel, ligbedjes, parasol en zwembadje maakte het verblijf echt top. Zeker een aanrader om hier te overnachten!

  Eine wirklich außergewöhnliche Unterkunft mitten in einer Bananenplantage. Alex ist ein sehr sympathischer Gastgeber, der uns u. a. mit frischen Bananen und Papaya versorgt hat 🙂 Wir haben die Ruhe dort sehr genossen. Restaurants, Bars und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Klare Empfehlung für eine ruhige Auszeit.

  La casita de la Finca Don Victor donde nos alojamos nos encantó. Desde la decoración, se nota el cariño con el que Alex y su familia han escogido cada detalle, hasta la ubicación de ensueño pegando al mar con esos atardeceres mágicos. Era el primer viaje con nuestro bebé y no pudieron estar más atentos de que no nos faltase nada. Además la bandeja de fruta estaba de 10. Si volvemos a Tenerife nos volveremos a quedar en la Finca sin duda!
