You know what struck me first about this place? The name doesn’t lie – that view really is fantastic. I mean, you’re literally looking out at both the Atlantic and the golf course from your terrace, and honestly, it’s one of those views that makes you stop mid-conversation. The house sits on Avenida María Ángeles Ascanio Cullen, which sounds fancy but it’s actually just a quiet residential street in San Miguel de Abona. Most people haven’t heard of this little town, but that’s exactly why it works – you’re getting that authentic Tenerife experience without the tourist crowds crushing you.

The setup is pretty perfect for families or groups who actually want to spread out. Three proper bedrooms, not those cramped hotel boxes, and the living areas flow naturally into each other. I loved how the kitchen opens right onto the terrace – you can prep breakfast while watching the golfers tee off below (and trust me, there’s something oddly satisfying about that morning ritual). The whole place feels lived-in rather than sterile, which is refreshing after staying in too many cookie-cutter vacation rentals. Storage space is actually decent too, something you don’t realize you need until you’re digging through suitcases for a week. The WiFi worked fine throughout the house, even out on the terrace where I spent most mornings with coffee.

What really sold me on the location was how it sits between worlds – you’ve got the golf course right there (Amarilla Golf, if you’re wondering), but you’re also a quick drive down to the coast. The beaches around here aren’t the postcard-perfect ones you see in brochures, but they’re real and way less crowded. San Miguel itself is one of those towns where locals still outnumber tourists, so you’ll find proper Spanish restaurants and little shops that haven’t jacked up their prices. Parking was never an issue, which honestly surprised me – there’s dedicated space and the neighborhood streets are wide enough that you’re not playing parking Tetris every time you come back. The only minor thing I’d mention is that you’ll want a rental car here. Public transport exists but it’s not super frequent, and rideshares can be hit or miss depending on the time of day. That 9.3 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to be something it’s not, just a really well-located, comfortable place that delivers exactly what it promises.

  Newly refurbished to the highest standards. Excellent kitchen fittings, huge fridge, dishwasher, comfortable furniture including beds. Excellent air con. Parking spots within 20m of entrance.

  The 3 level apartment is in a lovely complex with a pleasant pool area. It is convenient if you don't have a car as there are local buses and local taxis – the reception will ring for a taxi for you if you ask them. It is advisable to research the local buses ahead of your visit as reception didn't have any information on the buses. There is also a local supermarket close to the property. The property is comfortable, tastefully decorated and has lovely views.

  Geweldig appartement, vooral de drie verdiepingen met 3 terrassen waren echt super. Het overdekte terras met bankje was echt favoriet. Fijn om samen met ons gezin in dezelfde ruimte te zijn, maar dat we toch allemaal ons eigen stukje ruimte hadden. Ook het zwembad met bar was echt heerlijk. We komen graag weer terug.

  Super appartement sur 3 niveaux avec 3 magnifiques terrasses. très bien équipé, tout confort, 2 salles de bain + une toilettes avec éviers! Cuisine top super bien équipée. les deux chambres qui donnaient sur l'arrière étaient exceptionnellement calme. Énorme suite parentale avec balcon et salon d'extérieur privatif! La vue des terrasses est magnifique!!!! La piscine communautaire est chauffée et très agréable, très calme, toujours assez de transats. Grand jardin très calme. Restaurant et mer accessible à pied! Hôte très réactif. Nous avons adoré nos vacances.
