You know what struck me first about Estudio Paraiso del Sur? It’s actually tucked away on this quiet stretch of Avenida Adeje 300 – not right in the thick of things, but honestly, that’s kind of perfect if you want to escape the tourist mayhem while still being close enough to everything. I mean, you’re literally a five-minute walk from Playa Paraiso beach, and trust me, most mornings you’ll have stretches of that coastline almost to yourself before the day-trippers arrive.

The place itself is what I’d call refreshingly unpretentious – it’s a 3-star that knows exactly what it is and doesn’t try to be anything fancy. The studios are clean and functional (think IKEA meets Spanish sunshine), and honestly, the kitchenette setup is way more useful than you’d expect. I actually ended up cooking breakfast most mornings because there’s this little Spar just down the street where you can grab fresh tomatoes and that incredible local bread. The view situation is hit or miss depending on which room you snag – some face the street (a bit of morning traffic noise, but nothing crazy), others look out toward the volcanic landscape that makes this part of Tenerife so dramatic. The pool area is small but gets gorgeous afternoon sun, and I noticed it never felt crowded even when the place seemed pretty full.

What really won me over was how the staff – especially this one guy at reception, Miguel I think – actually seemed to care about helping you figure out the area. He pointed me toward this hiking trail that starts just behind the Costa Adeje Golf Course (maybe ten minutes by car) that most tourists completely miss. And parking, by the way, is free and easy – which is not something you can say about a lot of places along this coast. Look, the 7.2 rating makes sense because it’s not going to blow your mind, but it’s solid and comfortable, and the location gives you this nice balance of being in Paraiso del Sur’s residential vibe while still being close enough to walk to decent restaurants. The whole area gets pretty quiet after sunset, which I loved, but if you’re looking for nightlife, you’ll want to head toward Los Cristianos or Playa de las Americas (both about 15 minutes away). It’s the kind of place where you’ll sleep really well and wake up ready to explore, which honestly might be exactly what you need.

  Comfortable and pleasant basic stay for a modest price. Great location.
  Interesting and dynamic view from 14th floor from the Teide to the ocean. Rel. quiet nights.

  Location, spacious, well equipped apartment.
  Liked the resort.
  Didn't have a blue key fob we needed to access the pool and front entrance door throughout our ten days stay despite reporting this on our 3rd day when we found out.
  This wasn't sorted before the end of our holiday and we had to wait outside the building for another resident to come back at 10pm on our last night, no visible security person to help

  What could be improved: We arrived on a Saturday afternoon, the main light of the bathroom wasn't working. By Monday the power completely went out in the entire bathroom: no hot water, could not use the hairdryer or the washing machine. Since the issue could not be fixed on the same day the owner offered to move us to a different lodging close by for the remaining 3 days. There was a washing machine and an iron board but no drying rack, which was inconvenient. The building and the apartment seemed to be fairly old. We also did not particularly like the area. It was not possibile to park in the building internal parking lot, and in the area free parking was quite difficult to find, but there was an underground a toll parking close by.

  Lovely location and really nice staff. You have everything at your door step, bus stop outside that you can jump on to all other locations for a few euros, we went to fanabe a few days to the beach, spent the day at the Hardrock hotel across the road, the pools were lovely and amazing views. We had our 2 year old daughter with us so we went back early, put her down and had a takeaway and a vino on the balcony. If you walk down the road there are lovely bars overlooking beautiful volcanic rock, they have music on whilst watching the sunset, it's picturesque. Apartment itself is very well equipped has everything you need, with great views. We would definitely stay again.

  Apartamento con una muy buena relación calidad precio. Sin duda, un sitio muy recomendable.
  
  Se encuentra en una de las zonas turísticas más importantes del sur de Tenerife y el apartamento está bien equipado (cocina, utensilios, lavadora, artículos de limpieza, etc).
  
  Deborah estuvo muy atenta a nuestra llegada al apartamento y resolvió todas nuestras dudas rápidamente.
  
  What could be improved: El mobiliario está bastante anticuado y hay ciertos aspectos que se podrían mejorar, pero por el precio que tiene está bien.
  
  A veces resulta un poco complicado encontrar aparcamiento, aunque normalmente se aparca en menos de 10/15 minutos.
