You know what caught me off guard about this little studio? The view actually lives up to the name – and I say that as someone who’s been burned by “scenic” hotel descriptions before. From the moment you step inside, those city views of Puerto de la Cruz spread out below you, and honestly, it’s the kind of sight that makes you pause with your suitcase still in hand.

The location on Calle Leopoldo Cólogan Zulueta is pretty brilliant if you ask me. It’s one of those spots where you’re close enough to hear the life of the city – the morning buzz of locals heading to work, the distant sounds of the port – but far enough up that you’re not dealing with street noise all night. I mean, Puerto de la Cruz can get lively, especially during the summer months when the Spanish families descend for their holidays, but this place sits in that sweet spot where you feel connected to it all without being overwhelmed. The street itself is narrow (typical for this part of town), so don’t expect to park right outside, but there’s usually something within a block or two if you circle around.

What really won me over though was how the place feels lived-in rather than hotel-sterile. The studio setup actually works – it’s not just a cramped room with a kitchenette shoved in the corner, but a thoughtfully arranged space where you can actually spread out a bit. The kitchen area has decent counter space, which matters when you’re trying to prep breakfast with fresh fruit from the market down in the old town. And speaking of the old town, you’re maybe a 10-minute walk from Plaza del Charco, where the real action happens in the evenings. The walk down is lovely – past those classic Canarian houses with their wooden balconies – though coming back up reminds you that Puerto de la Cruz is built on hills, so pack comfortable shoes.

The 9.4 rating makes sense once you spend a night here. It’s not luxury by any stretch, but it’s that kind of place where everything just works the way it should. The shower has proper water pressure (small miracle in older Spanish buildings), the WiFi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and the bed is actually comfortable – not too soft, not too firm. Plus, the staff seem to genuinely care about the place rather than just going through the motions. During my stay, they offered up local recommendations that weren’t just the typical tourist spots, like this little tapas place tucked away near the botanical gardens that I never would have found otherwise.

If you’re the type who needs a resort with three pools and a spa, this isn’t your spot. But if you want a genuine taste of Puerto de la Cruz life – waking up to those city views, walking to the local bakery for your morning coffee, feeling like you’re staying in a real neighborhood rather than a tourist bubble – then this studio hits all the right notes. Just book early if you’re planning to visit during Carnaval season, because places like this fill up fast when the town comes alive.

  Apartment location was great for me. Buses/Shops/Restauranst/Coffe shops 1 minute from apartment. About 10-15 min to city centre and beaches. So if u travel by bus from Santa Cruz u have bust stop near there. Super view from balcony. Big smart tv no problem to connect with mobile phone. Very comfy bed!

  Todo ,súper limpio .. un detalle de bienvenida😊 que se lo agradezco a Tatiana que siempre está dispuesta a que nuestra estancia fuera perfecta .el sitio muy bonito una preciosa plaza en frente y llena de restaurantes donde se come muy bien.

  El apartamento es pequeño pero muy cómodo y no podría estar mejor equipado, extremadamente acogedor. Además se encuentra muy bien situado cerca del centro de Puerto de la Cruz y muy cercano a la playa. 10/10 lo recomendamos sin duda!

  Appartamento perfetto per due persone (coppia), pulito con tutto il necessario e posizione ottimale per fare un giro nei dintorni.
  Abbiamo apprezzato molto anche il “balcone” dove lasciare asciugamani, scarpe e per far arieggiare.

  L'appartamento è piccolo, ma ogni centimetro è sfruttato al massimo e non manca davvero nulla: dal cucinino, attrezzato a dovere con stoviglie, utensili e condimenti, all'armadio spazioso in cui venivano forniti anche ombrellone, racchettoni e maschera e boccaglio.
  Tutto è pensato per essere funzionale e accogliente: piccoli dettagli che fanno la differenza e non sono scontati, come il porta spazzolini e l'appendino in bagno, i barattolini di mojo omaggio e la doppia chiave.
  L'appartamento dista 15 minuti a piedi dal centro, in discesa all'andata e in salita al ritorno, ma ci ha fatto piacere sgranchirci le gambe.
  Abbiamo sempre trovato parcheggio free sotto casa.
  Anche lo staff è stato estremamente gentile e a nostra disposizione, consigliatissimo!
