So I stumbled across this little studio apartment right on Las Vistas beach in Los Cristianos, and honestly? The name says it all – “Estudio con mejor posición en Playa Las Vistas” basically means “studio with the best position on Las Vistas beach,” and they’re not kidding around. The place sits right on Calle Nordica, which is this quiet residential street that’s literally a 30-second walk from one of Tenerife’s most gorgeous beaches. I mean, you can practically roll out of bed and onto the sand.

What really struck me about this spot is how it manages to feel both local and tourist-friendly at the same time. The building itself is nothing fancy – it’s got that typical Canarian apartment block vibe – but the location is absolutely killer. Las Vistas is this beautiful golden sand beach (actually imported from the Sahara, fun fact) that stays pretty calm thanks to the breakwaters, so you’re not dealing with crazy Atlantic waves if you just want to float around. The studio overlooks all of this, and from what I could see, you get those amazing sunset views over the water that make everyone’s Instagram stories look the same but somehow never get old in person.

The area around Calle Nordica is surprisingly chill considering you’re so close to the beach action. During the day you’ll hear some typical resort sounds – kids playing, the occasional delivery truck – but it’s not like staying right on the main strip where you’ve got karaoke bars going until 3 AM. There’s this nice balance where you can walk to everything (the CC Safari shopping center is right there, plus tons of restaurants along the beachfront), but you’re not stuck in the middle of tourist chaos. Parking can be a bit tricky in this area, especially during peak season, but honestly that’s true for most of Los Cristianos – you just have to be patient or walk a few blocks.

You know what I really appreciated? This place has that 9.2 rating for a reason – it’s clearly well-maintained and the owners actually care about the guest experience. A lot of these beachfront studios can feel tired or neglected, but this one seems to have that attention to detail that makes the difference between a good stay and a great one. The whole Los Cristianos area has this relaxed, slightly more mature vibe compared to Playa de las Américas just down the coast, which I personally prefer. You’ve got families, couples, some digital nomads working from the beach cafés – it’s a nice mix.

If you’re the type who wants to be able to walk everywhere and actually feels like you’re experiencing a place rather than just staying in a hotel bubble, this studio hits the sweet spot. The beach is your front yard, you’ve got the port right there if you want to take day trips to La Gomera, and the whole southern coast of Tenerife is easily accessible. Just don’t expect luxury resort amenities – this is more about location, location, location, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

  Location is great for beach and night life, and also v close to Mercadona supermarket. Flat is well equipped and smartly decorated. Host was very communicative and helpful.
  
  What could be improved: Although there is a lot of parking in the vicinity, it is not allocated and it is almost always full (or at least it was in May), so be prepared to either do multiple loops to find a spot, or park 10-15 mins walk away. Not a problem in of itself, but good to be aware of.
