Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Estudio centro de La Laguna on Calle el Juego, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes the best discoveries come from lowered expectations. This little gem sits right in the heart of La Laguna’s old town, and I mean *right* in it – you’re literally steps away from the Cathedral and all those gorgeous colonial buildings that make this UNESCO World Heritage site so special.

The thing about staying here is that you’re not just visiting La Laguna, you’re actually living in it for a few days. I could hear the morning church bells from my room (which, honestly, became oddly comforting after the first day), and there’s something magical about stepping out your door and immediately being on those narrow cobblestone streets. The studio itself is pretty compact – I mean, it’s called “Estudio” for a reason – but everything you need is there, and it’s been thoughtfully designed. The kitchenette actually works (shocking, I know), and having that morning coffee while looking out at the traditional Canarian architecture… well, it beats hotel breakfast by a mile.

What really impressed me was how the place manages to feel both historic and comfortable. The building has that old-world charm you’d expect in this part of town, but someone clearly put effort into making it work for modern travelers. The WiFi was solid (crucial for those of us who can’t completely disconnect), and despite being in the centro histórico, it wasn’t unbearably loud at night – though you’ll definitely hear some nightlife on weekends since the university crowd loves this area. Actually, that’s part of the charm. La Laguna has this incredible energy because it’s not just a tourist destination; it’s a real, living city where students and locals hang out in the plazas and fill the tapas bars. From Calle el Juego, you can walk to Plaza del Adelantado in about two minutes, and that’s where the real magic happens in the evenings. Plus, if you’re planning to explore other parts of Tenerife, the bus connections from La Laguna are fantastic – much better than being stuck in some resort area. The 9.5 rating makes total sense once you understand what this place is offering: not luxury, but authenticity with all the practical stuff sorted out. It’s perfect for travelers who want to experience the real Canary Islands, not just the beach resort version.

  L'appartamento è nuovo, arredamento minimal ma ricercato. Ottima posizione, circondato da negozi e locali ma allo stesso tempo molto silenzioso.
  Il proprietario gentilissimo, ci ha fatto trovare, al nostro arrivo, acqua, vino e snack.

  El estudio estaba muy limpio. Me sorprendió lo bien aprovechado que estaba el espacio. Muy cómodo y la verdad que fue un detalle por parte del propietario, Alejandro, que nos dejara algo de picar. Un lugar muy cómodo y luminoso. Está situado muy cerca de la zona antigua de la ciudad. Excelente en todos los aspectos.

  El estudio está totalmente reformado y las instalaciones en perfecto estado. Además la ubicación es excelente, no necesitas el coche para moverte por La Laguna y a pesar de estar en el centro no hay nada de ruido en la habitación.
  Al llegar teníamos un pequeño picoteo de bienvenida. Destacar la atención del anfitrión, siempre atento a cualquier necesidad.

  Un estudio hermoso tal cual las fotos, con todos los detalles , todo nuevo a estrenar ,abajo un pequeño restaurante económico donde puedes comer muy rico , Mercadona a dos pasos del alojamiento como el tranvía para desplazarte , limpio organizado , de bienvenida unos detalles , la cocina tiene todas las especies de cocina sumamente acto para todos , es delicioso para ir en pareja que romántico me encantó. El propietario muy atento y servicial al llamarle para que acudiera a mi por un problema que había tenido , muy preocupado , familiar como si se tratara de un amigo , se agradece . Gracias
