Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name “Estancia Frente al Estadio y Ramblas,” I thought it was going to be one of those places where you’re basically sleeping next to a football stadium with all the noise that comes with it. But actually, this place surprised me in the best way possible. The location on Calle Heliodoro Rodríguez López is pretty clever – you’re literally a stone’s throw from the stadium (which is handy if you’re into CD Tenerife matches), but more importantly, you’re also walking distance to the Ramblas, which honestly is where you want to be anyway for the evening stroll and people-watching.

What I really appreciated was how they’ve managed to balance that 4-star comfort without feeling stuffy or over-the-top. The rooms have this clean, modern feel – nothing too fancy, but everything works properly, you know? The beds are actually comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a jet engine, which… well, let’s just say I’ve had different experiences at other places in the Canary Islands. The staff genuinely seem to know what they’re doing, and check-in was smooth even when I arrived later than expected after my flight got delayed. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this part of Santa Cruz, but they’ve got it sorted, which saves you from circling the block looking for a spot.

Here’s the thing that really won me over though – the location gives you options. You can walk to the city center easily, but you’re also positioned perfectly if you want to explore beyond the tourist bubble. The bus connections are right there if you’re planning day trips to other parts of Tenerife, and honestly, being near the stadium area means you’re in a neighborhood where actual locals live and work. You’ll find proper Canarian food nearby, not just the tourist stuff. I mean, the hotel itself isn’t going to blow your mind with unique character or anything – it’s more about solid comfort and smart positioning. But sometimes that’s exactly what you need, especially if you’re using Santa Cruz as a base to explore the island rather than just lounging around the hotel all day. The 8.8 rating makes sense to me – it’s the kind of place that consistently delivers what it promises without any nasty surprises.

  The flat was very comfortable and the location was excellent. Walking distance from Intercambiador. Very close to a beautiful park and my favourite supermarket, Mercadona!! I definitely recommend it for holidays. We had a fantastic time in Tenerife!!
  
  What could be improved: Taking into account that I stayed for a long period they could have put extra supplies in the flat such as toilet paper and rubbish bags as I ended up buying my own ones. They also didn't have a stick for the broom and they told me that I had to share the one for the mop for the broom as well. Unfortunately I could not remove the stick from the mop as it was too hard and I had to use the stick of the dustbin for the broom. The thing is that it was so short that I had to bend over every time I wanted to broom the flat. I think this was unnecessary, it would have been much easier to have a stick for each item, they are not expensive and it saves the hassle of having to swap it around.

  Apartament znajduje sie na spokojnym osiedlu, w pobliżu kawiarnie i sklepy, dużo zieleni.
  
  What could be improved: Słabo wyposażona kuchnia, brakuje kubków do herbaty, nie ma misek, noży do obierania owoców albo warzyw i w ogóle mało sprzętów pozwalających na przygotowanie posiłków. Brakuje gniazdek elektrycznych do ładowania sprzętu elektronicznego, nie ma gniazdka w sypialni, w salonie trzeba głęboko nurkować do listwy w szafce pod telewizorem. Te nieliczne gniazdka, które można znaleźć są starego typu i nie wchodzą do nich wtyczki. Brakuje kołdry w sypialni, jest prześcieradło do przykrycia, a w nocy było około 17 stopni. Mieszkanie ma potencjał, ale właściciel musi je trochę doposażyć.
