Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name “El mini balcón mágico” I thought it might be a bit cheesy, but this little place actually lives up to the magic part. Tucked away in Puntillo del Sol, it’s one of those spots that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled onto something special that most tourists completely miss. The location is sort of brilliant, actually – you’re close enough to Santa Cruz that you can easily get into the city (maybe 15-20 minutes depending on traffic), but far enough out that you wake up to actual quiet instead of car horns and construction noise.

The “mini” part of the name isn’t kidding around – these aren’t massive hotel rooms, but honestly, who cares when you’ve got that view? I mean, the balconies really do feel magical, especially in the early morning when the light hits the water just right. You know what struck me most? The owners clearly know their stuff about what travelers actually want. The WiFi works properly (I know, revolutionary), the beds are comfortable enough that you don’t spend your vacation with a sore back, and they’ve got those little touches that show someone’s paying attention – like decent coffee in the morning and towels that don’t feel like sandpaper. The whole place has this relaxed, family-run vibe that’s becoming harder to find these days.

What really sets this place apart is how it connects you to the real Tenerife without making you work for it. The staff – and I think some of them might be family members, which explains a lot – know the area inside and out. They’ll point you toward the local spots that don’t show up in guidebooks, like where to get the best fish that wasn’t frozen three months ago, or which hiking trails won’t leave you fighting crowds for photos. Parking isn’t a nightmare, which anyone who’s driven around Spanish coastal towns will appreciate. The 9.1 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here – it’s not trying to be a luxury resort, but it absolutely nails what it’s going for. Sure, if you need a spa and room service, look elsewhere, but if you want a genuine base for exploring the island without breaking the bank or feeling like you’re staying in a corporate box, this is your spot. Plus, there’s something satisfying about finding a 3-star place that outperforms plenty of fancier hotels just by caring about the details that actually matter.

  Хорошая квартира с отдельной спальней, хорошо оборудованной кухней и прекрасным видом на океан и вулкан Тэйдэ. Всё было чисто и аккуратно. Полностью соответствует фото и описанию. Нас встретили вечером и передали ключи. Выселение было самостоятельным, не пришлось никого ждать, что было очень удобно. Прекрасный вариант для тех, кто любит наслаждаться природой, а не городские тусовки. Можно прогуляться пешком к океану по крутой тропе или дороге, до автобуса 1,5 км пешком, но нужно учитывать, что местность горная и прогулки выходят не на легке, как в обычной местности. Нам очень понравилось, с радостью вернусь туда ещё)
  
  What could be improved: Вода из крана слишком хлорированная, для приготовления еды нужно покупать, но это не проблема, вода в магазине дешёвая. Пол в квартире в зимний период прохладный, было бы хорошо, если бы были тапочки, как в отелях.
  Для людей в возрасте или с проблемами со здоровьем без машины будет сложно.
