Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Dream Holiday Las Americas, I wasn’t expecting much from a hotel tucked away on C. Argentina. I mean, it’s this narrow little street that most tourists probably walk right past on their way to the main strip. But honestly? That turned out to be exactly what made this place special. You’re literally a two-minute walk from all the chaos of Playa de las Americas, but when you step inside, it’s like someone hit the volume button down a few notches.

The thing about staying on the sixth floor (yeah, that’s where the hotel is – took me a minute to figure that out from the address) is that you get these incredible views over the whole area without the street noise that’ll keep you up at night. I actually loved watching the sunset from up there, especially since you can see clear out to the ocean between the buildings. The rooms themselves are what you’d expect from a solid 4-star place – nothing too fancy, but everything works and it’s clean. The air conditioning is a godsend during those brutal August afternoons, and the WiFi actually reaches the bed, which… you know how hit-or-miss that can be in Spanish hotels.

What really sold me on this place was how the staff seemed to actually know the area. When I asked about getting to Los Cristianos without dealing with the tourist bus crowds, the guy at reception told me about this little shortcut through the back streets that saved me probably 20 minutes each way. And when I mentioned wanting to find decent coffee that wasn’t tourist prices, he pointed me toward this local spot just off Avenida Rafael Puig – honestly some of the best cortado I had during my entire trip. The location is sort of perfect if you think about it: close enough to stumble back from the bars and restaurants, but far enough that you’re not dealing with drunk British tourists singing at 3 AM (we’ve all been there). Plus, there’s actually parking nearby if you’re brave enough to rent a car in Tenerife, which is more than I can say for most places in Las Americas. I’d definitely go back – it’s one of those places that just gets the basics right without trying too hard to be something it’s not.

  Check in was simple . The location was perfect. Only a short stroll from the beach, shops and restaurants. It was quiet and peaceful. Jessica was so helpful with information about the area and tours etc. Nice pool in complex. Apartment is perfect for a couple or small family.

  What could be improved: the pool has rules that no towels left unattended,on sun loungers which sadly wasnt the case,but to be honest there was only one day we couldn't get a sun lounger.
  also late eves are very loud,even past midnight. another shame,that people cant be a bit more thoughtful with the families staying.

  We were welcomed personally and got everything explained. The room was clean but had two floors and the stairs were very tight. All basic kitchen utilities were available. We also got beach towels and a sunshade we could use for the beach and the pool.
  The complex is quiet and has a secured parking area. Everything can easily be reached by foot (small supermarket 3 minutes, siam mall inkl. supermarket 15 minutes, beach 5 minutes, bars/clubs/restaurants 10 minutes).
  The highway can be reached easily which makes this location a good basis for traveling by car.
  
  What could be improved: Check-Out is already at 10:00 a.m.
  Toilet paper and kitchen paper must be brought by yourself. In other apartments this was provided.

  Location of the apartment is excellent, it is in a quiet area, yet in close walking distance to the beaches, restaurants, shops and bars. The apartment is fully equipped for vacation, a nice add-on is the umbrella for the beach. We also liked how clean it was. The apartment includes free parking in the compound, which is a big plus in the busy season. In addition, the host is great and helps with everything you need.
