You know what? I’ve walked past Cristianos on the Paseo Marítimo probably a dozen times before I actually stayed there, and honestly, I was missing out. This place sits right on apartment 210 of what’s essentially prime real estate in Los Cristianos – you’re literally steps from the promenade where all the action happens, but high enough up that you’re not dealing with the street noise from people wandering back from the bars at 2 AM.

The thing about Los Cristianos is that everyone talks about the beach (which, fair enough, it’s gorgeous), but what I really love about staying at Cristianos is how it puts you right in the middle of everything without feeling touristy. I mean, it definitely attracts tourists – it’s a 4-star place with an 8.5 rating, so it’s not exactly a hidden gem – but the vibe is more… residential, I guess? You’ll see actual locals doing their grocery shopping at the Mercadona just a few blocks away, and the little café downstairs serves cortados that put most hotel coffee to shame. The apartment setup means you get proper space to spread out, which is clutch if you’re staying more than a couple nights. There’s something about having a real kitchen that makes a vacation feel less frantic, you know? Plus, the Paseo Marítimo location means you can grab fresh fish from the market and actually cook it if you want to save some euros – though honestly, with restaurants like Casa Tagoro practically around the corner, I usually end up eating out anyway.

What really sold me on this place, though, was the view situation. Los Cristianos can get pretty packed during peak season (avoid February if you hate crowds, trust me), but from up here you get this perfect vantage point of the harbor without being stuck in the middle of it all. You can watch the ferries heading to La Gomera while you’re having your morning coffee, and the sunset views toward the mountains are genuinely spectacular – I’m not just saying that because I’m trying to sell you on it. The only minor thing is that parking can be a bit of a puzzle during busy times, but there’s a public lot about a five-minute walk away that’s pretty reliable. Check-in was surprisingly smooth for what’s essentially an apartment rental, and the staff actually seemed to know the area well enough to give decent restaurant recommendations that weren’t just the obvious tourist spots. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying somewhere real rather than just passing through, which is exactly what you want when you’re trying to actually experience Tenerife instead of just Instagram-ing it.

  Loved the beach some nice restaurants around apartment was clean and had all ud need for a self catering holiday including a washing machine
  
  What could be improved: Parts of los cristanios were quiet hilly and as we were a couple with mobility issues
  The amount of people smoking everywhere also plenty of weed everywhere

  Beautiful mid size apartment directly on the frontline. Great view of the harbour from the balcony. Well run reasonably priced supermarket just downstairs. Lift also. Perfect for getting water and day to day supplies. Hiperdino close by. Excellent wifi. Everything, restaurants etc. just outside the door. Peaceful at night. Host couldn't be more helpful. Host was extremely helpful to my wife as she had to move apartments by herself due to my admission to hospital. He helped her with the move. He made every effort to make her feel safe and comfortable. Thank you Kemal.

  Kemo met us on arrival with keys. As there was 3 in our party he gave us a 2nd set of keys. The location was perfect. Everything close . Breakfast in a small cafe Oops nearly next door.
  
  What could be improved: There was nothing we didn't like . Only thing but not a complaint…the door to balcony was hard to open and the pigeons were very cheeky lol

  kemo, the point of contact was excellent, gave great recommendations. The apartment was clean, beds comfortable and we were very happy with the inside of the apartment. The pool area is clean and quiet.
  
  What could be improved: The balcony and bedroom were located right beside a busy road which offered no privacy.In the photos the bedroom curtain are closed, to stop the road being in it. Also, the communal bins are located across the road, so lots of early morning noise. The photo from the balcony was taken at night and you can't see what's outside. This is apartment 202,

  Central to shops, bars & restaurants & a few minutes walk to one of a few beaches. Our host was very friendly, helpful & informative, as far as letting us know where to eat, visit & where to get local transport. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony late evening overlooking the main strip.
