You know what struck me first about Crepúsculo? The name actually makes perfect sense once you’re there. This little gem sits on Calle Mesa del Mar in Puerto de la Madera, and honestly, the sunset views from their terrace are absolutely ridiculous – I mean that in the best way possible. The whole place feels like it was designed around those golden hour moments when the light hits the water just right.

I’ve stayed at plenty of four-star places that feel corporate and soulless, but Crepúsculo has this warmth that’s hard to fake. The staff genuinely seems to care about getting the details right, and it shows in weird little ways – like how they remember your coffee order after day two, or how the housekeeping team somehow always knows exactly when you’ve headed out for the day. The rooms aren’t huge (this is Spain, not a Vegas resort), but they’re thoughtfully laid out with these gorgeous tiled floors that stay cool even in summer. The beds are properly firm, which I appreciate after too many hotels with mattresses that feel like marshmallows.

What really sets this place apart is how it fits into Puerto de la Madera itself. You’re not stuck in some tourist bubble – walk five minutes in any direction and you’ll hit actual neighborhood spots where locals grab their morning cortado. The little fish market down near the harbor gets busy around 7 AM if you’re into that scene, and there’s this bakery (I never caught the name, but it’s got blue shutters) that does these almond pastries that are honestly dangerous. The hotel’s location means you get the best of both worlds – close enough to walk to the real action, but far enough up the hill that you’re not dealing with late-night noise from the waterfront bars. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak season, but the hotel has a small lot that they don’t advertise much – just ask when you check in. The whole area gets pretty quiet after 10 PM, which is perfect if you actually want to sleep. That 9.9 rating isn’t just fluff – I’ve been picky about hotels for years, and this one just gets it right without trying too hard.

  Our stay in this apartment has been lovely. The view of the ocean from the two balconies is simply breathtaking, you can even see the Teide volcano when the sky is clear. The location is quiet and peaceful, most of the time the only sound you can hear is the one of waves crashing on the rocks below. There is a natural swimming pool, a beach, and a small market near the building. The highway is only about a 10 minutes drive away, and from there you can easily get to anywhere on the island. The apartment also has a private parking space. The host and his son are very nice and easy to communicate with. The host's son welcomed us and showed us around the apartment, which is spacious and clean, exactly like shown in the pictures. We even had some fresh fruit and beverages waiting for us when we arrived. Overall, I highly recommend it!

  Big apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 balconies with breathtaking view. Antonio was nice and polite, he welcomed us and offered some insights on the area. You will descend 500m by car from Tacoronte city to get there but it's totally worth it, because you will enjoy a very nice and quiet island corner. Free onsite parking and a small shop nearby. There is a black sand beach and a natural pool 2 min away.
