Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw “Cozy studio next to the sea” I thought it was just another overused Airbnb title, but this little place on Avenida Adeje 300 actually lives up to the hype. You’re on the 14th floor, which honestly makes all the difference because you get these incredible views over the coast without the street noise from below. The elevator takes forever (fair warning), but once you’re up there, you sort of forget about everything else. What struck me most was how the sound of the waves drifts up even with the windows closed – it’s not something you expect from a high-rise, but Adeje’s coastline has this way of amplifying the ocean sounds that I’ve never experienced anywhere else along the Canary Islands.

The studio itself is… well, it’s actually cozy, not just marketing-speak cozy. Someone clearly thought about how to make a small space work without feeling cramped. The kitchenette has everything you need if you’re the type who likes to grab groceries from the Mercadona down the street (about a 5-minute walk, past that little café with the excellent cortados). I mean, you’re in Tenerife, so you’ll probably eat out most nights anyway, but having a proper fridge and coffee setup makes mornings so much better. The bed faces the window, which means you wake up to either sunrise or ocean views depending on the season – I stayed in March and caught some spectacular sunrises that had me setting my alarm earlier just to watch them.

What really makes this place special is the location within Adeje itself. You’re not stuck in the tourist bubble of Playa de las Américas, but you’re close enough (maybe 10 minutes by car) that you can easily hit the beaches or nightlife when you want to. The neighborhood around Avenida Adeje 300 has this lived-in feel – locals walking their dogs, small bars that aren’t trying to separate tourists from their money, grocery stores that actually stock normal food alongside the tourist snacks. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak season, but the building has a garage that the host arranged access to, which honestly saved me so much stress. The whole area gets this amazing golden light in the late afternoon that photographers would kill for, and from the 14th floor, you get the full show. I ended up spending way more time just sitting by the window than I planned, watching the light change over the water. For a 3-star place, it punches way above its weight – that 9.3 rating isn’t inflated marketing nonsense, it’s genuinely earned.
