You know what caught me off guard about this place? Walking up to Calle Italia 1 and realizing I was about to get one of the best sea views in Costa Adeje without breaking the bank. I mean, this isn’t some fancy 5-star resort – it’s a solid 3-star spot – but honestly, that terrace view rivals what you’d pay double for at the bigger hotels down the coast.

The thing about Costa Adeje is that location is everything, and this place gets it right. You’re tucked away from the main tourist chaos but still close enough to walk to Playa del Duque in about 10 minutes (though I’d recommend the little beach bar route along the coastal path – locals showed me that one). The pool area is actually pretty sweet for a smaller property. It’s not huge, but it’s clean and never felt crowded when I was there, even during peak season. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets in the evenings – you can actually hear the waves from that terrace, which is rare around here with all the construction noise from the bigger resorts.

The apartment itself feels lived-in in a good way, if that makes sense. The terrace is definitely the star of the show – I spent most mornings out there with coffee, watching the ferries head to La Gomera. The kitchen is basic but functional (I made breakfast most days since there’s a decent Mercadona just a few blocks up the hill). One small thing that bugged me was the shower pressure – it’s not terrible, but don’t expect anything amazing. The Wi-Fi worked fine for checking emails and uploading photos, though it did slow down in the evenings when everyone was online. Parking can be a bit tricky on Calle Italia – it’s a narrow street and fills up quick, but there’s usually spots if you’re patient or don’t mind walking a block or two. The 9.3 rating honestly makes sense once you factor in the view and the price point. I’ve stayed at much more expensive places in Tenerife that didn’t deliver half the charm this spot has. Sure, it’s not luxury, but for what it is – a clean, well-located base with an incredible terrace – it really delivers.
