Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Club Atlantis studio 160, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place right in the heart of Playa de Las Americas. But you know what? Sometimes the best surprises come in simple packages. The building sits right on Avenida de Colón, which means you’re literally a two-minute walk from the beach and about thirty seconds from some seriously good late-night tapas (there’s this little place called Bar Ramón that stays open until 2 AM – trust me on this one).

The studio itself is pretty straightforward – clean, functional, and honestly perfect if you’re planning to spend most of your time exploring rather than lounging around your room. What I actually loved was how quiet it manages to be despite being so close to the action. I mean, you’re right there where all the nightlife happens, but the windows are decent enough that you can actually sleep without earplugs. The kitchenette is small but works fine for making coffee in the morning or storing those amazing tomatoes you’ll inevitably buy at the Saturday market down the street. Speaking of which – parking can be a bit tricky during market days, but there’s usually spots available on the side streets if you don’t mind walking an extra block.

Here’s what really sold me on this place: the staff actually knows the area. When I asked about hiking up to Barranco del Infierno, the guy at reception didn’t just hand me a generic brochure – he told me exactly which bus to catch (the 416, in case you’re wondering) and warned me that the trail gets packed after 10 AM. That kind of local knowledge is worth its weight in gold when you’re trying to make the most of your time. The whole vibe is just… unpretentious, I guess? You’re not paying for marble lobbies or infinity pools, but you’re getting a solid base in one of the best spots on the island. The 8.1 rating makes total sense – it’s not trying to be fancy, it’s just doing what it does really well. If you’re the type who wants to wake up, grab a cortado from the café downstairs, and be on the beach before the cruise ship crowds arrive, this is your spot.

  Would have appreciated some bottled water in the room on arrival. We arrived in the middle of the night and had been warned not to drink tap water!

  Nice location, close to Playa de la Pinta and not to far from Playa de Fanabe which one I prefer. Also close ( you can walk in half hour) to Siam park and to Aqualand Costa Adeje. Same distance for the main bus station Adeje from where you can take buses to Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Los Gigantes or Icod de los Vinos. Good restaurants in vecinity.

  Nice studio on the first floor in an apart hotel with a terrace with side sea view (picture). The beds are comfortable; the kitchen is equiped to cook yourself if you would like. Host Vivi is welcoming and helpful. For those who like, there is a swimming pool, but the closest beach is nearby.
  
  What could be improved: There are some small things that could improve the comfort of the studio. The spray head in the shower could be better; I punctured the calcified holes to have a more comfortable shower experience. A coffee machine with capsules would be nice for those who drink 1 or 2 coffees a day at home. Unfortunately woken up 2 times at night by the garbage truck honking its horn to open the hotel barrier. (Nevertheless this has not ruined our holidays. Over all we have had a very good stay.)
