You know what struck me first about Castle Harbour? It’s actually on Avenida San Francisco – which honestly sounds way more formal than it is. This street puts you right in the heart of Los Cristianos, but not in that overwhelming tourist-trap way. I mean, you’re close enough to hear the morning buzz from the harbor (which I actually found pretty charming), but the building itself feels surprisingly peaceful once you’re inside. The heated pool situation is legit – and I say this as someone who’s been disappointed by too many “heated” pools that feel like ice baths. This one’s actually warm enough that I found myself swimming laps at 8 AM, which is… not normally my thing.

The apartment setup works really well if you’re the type who gets claustrophobic in tiny hotel rooms. There’s proper space to spread out, and the kitchen means you can grab fresh stuff from the local market instead of eating tourist-menu paella every night (though honestly, the paella at the harbor isn’t terrible). What really gets me is how they’ve managed to keep everything feeling fresh and updated – you know how some places look great in photos but then you arrive and everything’s slightly worn around the edges? Not here. The whole place has this clean, modern vibe without being sterile. The balcony views depend on which unit you get, but even the less spectacular ones give you enough of a glimpse toward the water to remind you where you are.

Location-wise, you’re about a seven-minute walk to Playa de Los Cristianos – and I mean a real seven minutes, not that inflated “close to beach” nonsense some places claim. The neighborhood has that lived-in feel where actual locals go about their business alongside tourists, which I personally love. There’s a little supermarket practically next door, and the ferry terminal is close enough that you can easily hop over to La Gomera for a day trip without it being a whole production. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak season (summer gets pretty intense), but they’ve got it sorted for guests. The only minor thing – and this is really minor – is that weekend nights can get a bit lively since you’re so central, but honestly, that’s Los Cristianos for you. If you want complete silence, you probably shouldn’t be staying in the middle of a bustling resort town anyway. The whole experience just feels… right, you know? Like someone actually thought about what travelers need instead of just checking boxes.

  The best thing about the property was the kitchen , it had literally everything and anything you could think of , there was no limiting to our cooking and there’s also a relatively big fridge and freezer which we really enjoyed which helps if you can’t be bothered to go to restaurants and save some money , even though there’s plenty restaurants nearby.
  
  It’s relatively well located not too far from tourist points like Siam park , Veronica’s strip, chillbox , monkey park famous food places etc
  
  The pool is great , in the sun, not too crowded and spacious enough

  The TV has plenty to offer from Netflix , YouTube and many more
  
  The balcony is great ,place is clean and well furnished,
  There’s a fan so it’s cool enough
  
  Has a lot to offer like a safe , washing machine , ironing board , Hoover , plenty of towels .

  What could be improved: Fan in bedroom has no remote
  
  No cleaning so it is up to you to clean but we were happy to do this
  
  Hotel does require you to rent out sun beds even though not too expensive (€20 for 2 people for a week)
