You know what struck me first about Casa RITI Mesa del Mar? The fact that it’s tucked away on this residential street in Tacoronte where you’d never expect to find a hotel this polished. I mean, you’re driving through what feels like a local neighborhood – which it is – and suddenly there’s this sleek building that somehow doesn’t look out of place. The whole El Pedregal area has this authentic Canarian vibe that most tourists never see because they’re all stuck down in the southern resort towns.

The thing about staying here is you’re actually living like a local for a few days. There’s a small supermarket about two blocks down where the shopkeeper will remember your face by day three, and honestly, the coffee at the little bar across the street is better than what you’ll get at most hotel lobbies. The rooms themselves are what you’d expect from a solid four-star – clean, modern, with that particular European attention to detail where everything just works properly. The beds are actually comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the bathrooms have decent water pressure, which you can’t always count on in older Canarian buildings. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – you’re close enough to the coast to catch ocean breezes, but far enough from the main tourist drag that you won’t hear drunk British tourists singing at 2 AM.

The location is sort of perfect if you want to explore the real Tenerife. You’re maybe fifteen minutes from the coast, twenty from La Laguna (which is gorgeous and way less crowded than Santa Cruz), and you can actually get to the Teide National Park without fighting through resort traffic. The staff genuinely knows the area – not just the obvious tourist spots, but where to find the best local restaurants and which hiking trails are worth your time. I asked about getting to some of the smaller villages up in the mountains, and they didn’t just hand me a brochure – they drew a little map and explained which roads to avoid during school hours. That 9.3 rating makes sense when you experience this kind of service. It’s not fancy in a show-off way, but everything just works smoothly, and the people actually seem to care about whether you have a good time. Plus, parking is included and easy, which anyone who’s driven around Tenerife will tell you is worth its weight in gold.

  The location was great for us as a family with two little children: short distance to the beach, as well as playground. Parking place is always awailabe outside. The host is a really nice person ready to help you 24/7! Special thanks for the cot and the baby blankets, which we used a lot during our stay. We loved our holiday in that beautiful area a lot and the apartment has become our home. We are looking forward to return.
  
  What could be improved: We really missed some pillows on the couches in the living room. That basically made the room unusable since you couldn't relax on those couches unless you lean against cold wall. And the couches in the outside kitchen couldn't fit us all since we're were 5 people.

  La ubicación es a pie de mar. Cierto que llegar a ella es bajar una carretera tortuosa…(Como casi todo Tenerife). pero esta emplazada en un apartado precioso. Piscina natural delante y pequeña playa detrás ambas a menos de 3 minutos andando. Hay un pequeño comercio pegado que te ayuda en caso de faltar algo. La casa es grande e ideal para un grupo o familia amplia. tienes una terraza muy amplia también que en verano se debe disfrutar (fuimos en Marzo).
  La limpieza de la casa…de quirófano. un placer. La tiene muy cuidada.

  A szállás közvetlenül az óceán parton van, egy gyönyörű fekete kavicsos és egy óceán vizű medence mellett. A szállás közelében a fürdési lehetőségek nagyon jók. Az apartman tágas, 2 fürdő + 1 külön wc, 2 konyha, 3 szoba és 1 nappali ahol úgyszintén vannak ágyak. Hatalmas terasz kilátással az óceánra. Nagyon felszerelt, minden van ami egy hosszabb tartózkodásra kell (hajszárító, mosógép stb.)
  Minden helységben van síkképernyős okos TV. Jó wifi van. Közvetlenül a szálláshely alatt kisbolt van. Ingyenes parkolásra van lehetőség, az apartman előtt 2 parkoló is van. A szállásadó nagyon kedves, érkezésünkkor hatalmas palackos víz és gyümölcsök is vártak minket. Köszönünk mindent, biztosan visszatérünk még. ☺️

  El titular un encanto de hombre, todo el rato pendiente en nuestra estancia de que estuviera todo perfecto.

  L'appartement est spacieux, les sanitaires sont parfaits, la terrasse est très agréable. La vue sur l'océan est extraordinaire, beaucoup de vagues, vous pouvez vous promenez le long du littoral, admirer de beaux couchers de soleil. L'accès à Mesa del Mar se fait par une route sinueuse sur 1.5 km et cela nécessite d'être habitué à la conduite en montagne.
  
  What could be improved: L'appartement est très agréable mais il mériterait d'être mieux équipé en vaisselle et petit électroménager. Il y a 2 cuisines avec des grands réfrigérateurs mais peu de plats pour le four, manque de passoire etc…..
  Il n'y avait pas de restaurant ouverts à proximité du logement.
