You know what struck me first about Casa Judit? It’s tucked away on this quiet residential street in Los Silos where you can actually hear the ocean at night – something that’s honestly pretty rare along this stretch of Tenerife’s north coast. I mean, Los Silos isn’t exactly a tourist hotspot (which is kind of the point), but Casa Judit manages to feel like you’ve stumbled onto something locals have been keeping to themselves. The building itself has that authentic Canarian charm – whitewashed walls, wooden shutters, the kind of place where you half-expect someone’s grandmother to appear on the balcony with fresh bread. It’s a solid 3-star spot, but honestly feels more thoughtful than a lot of the flashier places down south.

What really makes this place work is how it sits in the neighborhood. You’re literally a five-minute walk from the old town square where there’s this tiny market on Saturday mornings – locals selling the kind of tomatoes that actually taste like something and fresh fish that was probably swimming yesterday. The woman who runs the front desk (I think she might be Judit herself, though I never asked) knows exactly which restaurants to hit and which beaches are worth the drive. She pointed me toward Playa de la Madera, this black sand beach that’s absolutely stunning but completely empty most days because, well, most tourists never make it this far north. The room I stayed in was simple but comfortable – good Wi-Fi, decent shower pressure, and a little balcony that caught the morning light perfectly. There’s something refreshing about a place that doesn’t try to be everything to everyone, you know?

Here’s the thing about staying in Los Silos though – you really need a car. Casa Judit has parking (thank god, because street parking can be… interesting), and you’ll want to explore the area properly. The drive to Garachico takes maybe ten minutes and it’s absolutely worth it, especially if you hit the natural rock pools at sunset. Honestly, the 8.8 rating makes complete sense once you realize what you’re getting – it’s not luxury, but it’s authentic in a way that’s getting harder to find. The coffee at breakfast is proper strong, the kind that actually wakes you up, and they don’t rush you out the door like you’re on some assembly line. If you’re the type who wants to experience Tenerife beyond the resort strips and actually feel like you’re in Spain rather than some international tourist bubble, Casa Judit hits that sweet spot perfectly.

  La amabilidad de Judit ha sido excepcional. Pocas veces te encuentras con personas así cuando alquilas. Fuimos con mis hijos y la verdad que todo muy bien. Limpio, sin ruidos (más bien lo hacíamos nosotros, aprovecho y pido disculpas🤣). Si tuviera que quedarme por los silos de nuevo, repetiría seguro!!!!

  Séjour agréable et au calme.
  Accueil chaleureux (présence d’une bouteille de vin sur la table avec deux verres) Belle décoration. Chambre spacieuse et literie confortable.
  Les bémols : Il pourrait y avoir plus d’assiettes et d’ustensiles de cuisine. Plafond trop bas dans la salle de bain : je me suis cogné la tête plusieurs fois en me relevant des toilettes.

  В квартире все новое и чистое, видно, что недавно сделан ремонт. Хозяйка очень приветливая женщина, на столе стояла бутылка вина, очень приятный приветственный бонус, также любезно по просьбе дала нам фен и оперативно отвечала на все вопросы через whatsapp.Ключи забирать очень удобно по коду.
  Океан в 3 минутах ходьбы ,очень близко, есть кофейня/бар на берегу и красивая набережная.
  Посуды хватало, есть все необходимое ,было средство для мытья посуды и мыло.
  Однозначно, можно вернуться в это место!

  Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist sehr gut alles war sehr sauber und Modern eingerichtet. Parkplätze auf der Strasse vor dem Haus waren immer vorhanden. Auch die Flasche Rotwein zur Begrüßung hat uns sehr gut gefallen.
  
  What could be improved: Einen Kochlöffel und einen Schäler haben wir vermisst, Salz, Pfeffer und Zucker wären auch gut gewesen um ein erstes Frühstück perfekt zu machen. Sonst war alles in Ordnung.

  Judit es muy amable. El sitio es coqueto, los muebles están nuevos. Tuvieron detalles de bienvenida locales muy bonitos. Está bien ubicado, si quieres estar en un sitio tranquilo cerca del mar pero no muy lejos del centro de los Silos. Para mí el balcón fue lo mejor, un lugar muy agradable donde desayunar y estar tranquila.
  
  What could be improved: El baño tiene parte de la escalera dentro, así que hay una parte del techo que baja y te puedes hacer daño en la cabeza si no tienes cuidado. No se lo recomendaría a personas muy altas. La ducha y el lavabo están bien pero no soy muy grandes. Por la mañana, al haber una cristalera con aluminio bastante grande y dar el sol por la mañana de ese lado, hacía calor.
