  The hosts of this lovely apartment went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and hassle-free. Despite our transportation issues, they kindly met us in person on a Sunday and were incredibly flexible in accommodating our constantly changing time of arrival. They were a charming couple who took the time to give us a thorough rundown of the apartment, the building, and the surrounding neighborhood.
  
  The apartment itself was fantastic – it had everything we needed and more. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessary amenities. We were especially thrilled to find a laundry and dryer machine in the apartment, which is a rare find in Europe. Additionally, there was a decent dining table as well as a second table near the window, which offered a breathtaking view of the ocean and the main road. Every morning, we were greeted with a stunning sunrise, and my son loved sitting by the window, playing with his toys and basking in the sunshine.
  
  The town where the apartment is located may be seemingly religious, quiet, and sleepy, but that's part of its charm. There are several restaurants, grocery stores, bars, and beaches nearby, making it a perfect destination for a relaxing getaway. Public transportation nearby makes getting to the big city of Santa Cruz a very easy 25-minute direct ride. The people in this town are the salt of the earth. During our stay, I worked remotely and visited the nearby gym and the beach almost every day. The weather in this part of the island was nothing short of spectacular – even in December, we enjoyed consistently warm temperatures ranging from 23-27 degrees Celsius with minimal wind and plenty of sunshine.
