You know what struck me first about Boutique Villa Leicht & Friends? The name’s a bit quirky, honestly – sounds more like a design studio than a hotel – but once you’re standing on Calle Vista Bella looking at this place, it all makes sense. This isn’t your typical Adeje hotel trying to pack in as many tourists as possible. It’s actually tucked away on this quiet residential street that most people miss entirely, which is exactly why it works so well.

The whole setup feels like someone took their really stylish friend’s house and turned it into a hotel without losing any of the personality. I mean, you’re still in Adeje, so you’ve got all the Costa Adeje beaches within a short drive, but you’re away from that intense tourist strip energy. The staff here – and I think this is where the “Friends” part of the name comes in – they actually remember your name and what you ordered for breakfast yesterday. It’s that kind of place. The rooms have this clean, modern vibe without being sterile, and honestly, the beds are fantastic (which matters more than people admit). What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – you’re close enough to walk to restaurants and bars, but far enough from the main drags that you’re not dealing with street noise until 3 AM.

Here’s the thing about staying here: it’s perfect if you want to experience Tenerife but don’t want to feel like you’re staying in a resort factory. The 8.8 rating isn’t just because it’s pretty – though it definitely is – it’s because they’ve figured out those little details that actually matter. The shower pressure is excellent, there’s proper blackout curtains, and the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing. Plus, and this is something I only figured out after talking to one of the locals, you’re actually really well-positioned here for exploring the island. You can hit the beaches, sure, but you’re also close to some of the better hiking trails that lead up toward Teide, and there’s this little family-run restaurant about two blocks away that serves the best papas arrugadas I had during my entire trip. The parking situation is straightforward too – no hunting around narrow streets or paying ridiculous fees. It’s one of those places where you end up extending your stay if you can, and then spend the rest of your vacation wishing other hotels paid this much attention to actually being comfortable rather than just looking impressive in photos.

  Anna and Alexander were so friendly and available to help throughout our stay. The apartment we stayed in had a balcony and a huge bathroom. Beautiful views out to sea. It’s high on the hill – so be prepared to use taxis or brave a VERY steep climb back!

  This was our second stay at Anna's villa. Again, we loved our time in Tenerife, and our accommodation was a big part of that. We stayed in the generously sized "Ocean Spirit" apartment, which includes a seating area, kitchenette, study, and ensuite. But surely the highlight is the view from the floor to ceiling corner windows. The location is superb, overlooking Costa Adeje and the ocean.
