You know what struck me first about this place? The name actually delivers – those views from Calle Richard J. Yeoward really are something special. I mean, Puerto de la Cruz has plenty of apartments claiming great vistas, but this one’s positioned just right to catch both the ocean and the town sprawling below. The street itself is pretty quiet (which honestly surprised me, given how central it is), and you’re maybe a seven-minute walk downhill to the main plaza area where all the action happens.

The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home rather than a sterile rental – there’s character in the details, you know? The kind of place where the coffee maker actually works well and the shower has proper water pressure. I stayed during shoulder season in March, and while the building’s not flashy from the outside, the interior was spotless and thoughtfully set up. The kitchen had everything I needed for those mornings when I wanted to make breakfast and just sit with those views instead of rushing out. Speaking of which, the terrace situation is really where this place shines – you can actually hear the waves from up there, which sounds cheesy but honestly adds something to your morning routine.

What I appreciated most was how the location works in practice. Sure, you’re on a bit of a hill, but that’s what gets you the views, right? The walk down to the botanical gardens takes maybe fifteen minutes, and there’s a small supermarket about halfway down if you need basics. The bus stop for getting around the island is close enough that you don’t need to stress about transportation, but far enough that you’re not dealing with bus noise all day. Puerto de la Cruz can get pretty touristy around the harbor area, but up on this street it feels more like you’re staying in a neighborhood where actual people live. I’d definitely come back – that 9.4 rating isn’t just people being generous, it’s earned through those little details that make a place feel right.

  It was perfect for our needs, family of 4. Car park on premise (on tenerife parking always an issue), waking distance to several restaurants and shops. In 15 min walk into historic center. We visited several places in the north from this home base

  This apartement offers you everything you need for perfect holiday. I stayed there for 3weeks and it felt like beeing home: location with sea view, near bus station, market, fitness, center, small shops, quiet and peacefull location. Very nice, clean and cozy apartement with big teracce and washing machine.

  Very nice apartment, lot of sun inside and quiet. Not hot inside well ventilated. For 4 people is ok. Car park in private place, lot of space directly next to building. Walking distance to city center (just uphill on way back :-). I can really recommend.
