You know what surprised me most about this place? The view hits you the moment you step out onto that sixth-floor balcony – I mean, Puerto de Santiago spreads out below like someone painted it just for you. Bonito apartamento cerca del mar lives up to its name, honestly, though “cerca del mar” undersells it a bit since you’re practically hanging over the coastline from up here.

The apartment itself is one of those gems that makes you wonder why anyone bothers with traditional hotels anymore. It’s got that lived-in comfort that actually works – the kitchen’s properly stocked (not just two sad plates and a broken can opener), and there’s enough space to spread out without tripping over your suitcase every five minutes. The building on Calle Caleta del Jurado is solid, well-maintained, and thankfully the elevator works reliably because six flights would be brutal with luggage. Parking can be a bit of a dance around here – this part of Puerto de Santiago wasn’t exactly designed for modern traffic – but there’s usually something within a block or two if you’re patient.

What really gets me is the location itself. You’re tucked into this residential pocket that feels authentically Canarian, not touristy at all, but walk five minutes toward the water and you’re at some seriously good seafood spots that the cruise ship crowds never seem to find. The morning light comes in beautifully from the east, and evenings… well, let’s just say the sunsets from that balcony are the kind that make you forget to check your phone for hours. The neighborhood gets genuinely quiet after dark too, which is rare this close to the coast. I stayed here during what locals told me was peak season, and still managed to sleep through the night without earplugs – that’s saying something for a building this close to the action. The 9.1 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve been there; it’s the kind of place that does everything right without making a big show of it.

  What a lovely quiet apartment that had a comfy bed , lovely terrace , lovely and clean ,Irma who have us the keys was very helpful.
  There is a shop right downstairs which is great ,there was free parking in a secure garage ,all in all a wonderful break and would not hesitate to return

  The apartment is very good located, just near the complex is a supermarket, then on the next street are cafes and restaurants, souvenir shops, pharmacy, etc.
  Nearby are as well two beaches.
  The pool is amazing and the entire complex is clean and neighbours are very nice.
  The apartment is very clean, cozy with all the necessary things. The bed and pillows are very confortabile.
  We spend many afternoons and mornings in the balcony which is as well big and confortabile. Bathroom and shower are as well very good.
  If you do not speak Spanish, please read all the instructions provided before the stay by Irma, you have there all the needed information.
  
  The bus station is very close, max 2 min walk from here you can take busses to north or south.
  As well very good location to go to Masca or to Teide tours.

  Modern and clean apartment, nice and large pool, good location, underground private parking area, good things for the beach (towels, umbrella), very good communication with the host.

  Super apartment, spotlessly clean, great location, very comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming, met us when we arrived, left us some water, and a lovely bottle of white wine .
  We will definitely stay here next time we are in the area if possible and will recommend it to any travelling to Puerto de Santiago/Los Gigantes

  We had a great stay at this apartment in Puerto de Santiago. It's part of a well-kept complex with a large shared pool – big enough to do some actual swimming if you’re into that. There were always sun loungers available, and the other residents, mostly Spanish, were friendly and respectful, which made the atmosphere very pleasant.
  
  The location is excellent – everything in town is within walking distance. There’s a supermarket conveniently located right next to the complex entrance, and restaurants, cafes, and the coast are all nearby. Check-in was smooth and straightforward.
  
  The apartment is on the 6th floor and offers a lovely view, with great sunlight throughout the day – perfect for sunbathing right from the balcony. It also has direct access to the back street from the same level, which was very convenient. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a separate bedroom and a well-equipped living area.
  
  What could be improved: A couple of small things to note: to access the garage, you first need to park on the street to get the keys from the apartment. Also, the garage spots are quite narrow, so just be a bit careful if you have a larger car. The Wi-Fi was a bit slow during our stay, but we mostly used our mobile data so it didn’t really affect us. Occasionally you could hear some noise from the corridor, but it wasn’t too disruptive.

  the location is great, very close to the beach and natural pool by Los Gigantes. private pool and parking for residents, all essentials were there in the flat.
  
  What could be improved: the person who greeted me didn’t speak English at all, we were unable to communicate, and needed help
  from a neighbour to translate how to access parking. given all the communication prior to arrival was in English, I expected someone to speak English. alternatively, there should be an alternative way to check in, like a self check in etc
