You know what strikes you first about Blue Gold Escape? It’s tucked away on this quiet little street called Calle Aljibe where you actually hear birds in the morning instead of traffic – which is honestly pretty rare when you’re this close to all the action in Adeje. I mean, most places either stick you in the middle of tourist chaos or so far out you need a car for everything, but this spot somehow nails that sweet spot.

The whole “Ocean Garden” part of the name isn’t just marketing fluff either. They’ve got this courtyard area that actually feels like you’re in someone’s private garden, with these massive palm trees that must be decades old and flowering plants that smell incredible in the evenings. The rooms themselves are what I’d call thoughtfully designed – not trying too hard to be fancy, but everything works and feels solid. The air conditioning doesn’t sound like a jet engine (thank god), and the beds are firm enough that you won’t wake up with a backache. Small thing, but the shower pressure is actually decent, which you can’t take for granted in some Spanish hotels.

What really gets me about this place is how the staff seems to know the area inside and out. When I asked about avoiding the cruise ship crowds at the beaches, they didn’t just hand me a generic map – they told me exactly when to hit Playa del Duque and which little path to take to skip the main entrance chaos. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that overly rehearsed welcome speech nonsense. They’ve got parking sorted (not always a given in these narrow Adeje streets), and honestly, the location means you can walk to some really solid local restaurants without dealing with the resort strip prices. There’s this little Canarian place about five minutes away that locals actually eat at – you know the type, where the menu isn’t translated into six languages and they serve proper papas arrugadas. The hotel itself runs pretty quietly; I never heard neighbors through the walls, and the common areas don’t turn into party zones at night. It’s more the kind of place where people are genuinely trying to relax rather than recreate their college spring break. The 4-star rating feels spot-on – it’s not trying to be the Ritz, but everything you need is there and done well.

  Die beste Unterkunft auf unserer Rundreise: Sonnendurchflutet, hell und sehr sauber. Sehr angenehme und hilfsbereite Gastgeber vor Ort. Strände, Restaurants und Bars in der Umgebung sind sehr einladend und fussläufig erreichbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

  Die Gastgeber sind super nett und fürsorglich! Die Wohnung ist extrem sauber, die Sofas innen und auf der Terrasse sehr bequem! Die Betten top! Der Blick aufs Meer von der Terrasse und allen anderen Zimmern phantastisch ! Sehr schöner Poolbereich mit beheiztem Pool !
  Der kleine Strand von Playa Paraiso ist ganz süß ( ca 10min Fußmarsch), der nächste Strand in Callao Salvaje ist in 20 Fußminuten zu erreichen ( Sonnenschirme umsonst , aber schon ziemlich verwittert …), unser Favorit ist der Abama Strand – 10 Autominuten entfernt ( nach 11 Uhr bekommt man keinen Parkplatz mehr !). Auf dem Paseo Maritimo in Playa Paraiso kann man wunderbar spazieren oder joggen! Viele , tolle Restaurants um die Ecke! Besondere Empfehlung : Sunset-Bar Roca Negra !!! ( 10 min Fußmarsch)

  Lucinda und Luc sind phantastische Gastgeber ! Die Wohnung befindet sich in den obersten Etagen von Ocean Garden und hat daher einen herrlichen Blick aufs Meer , sie ist sehr sonnig ! Die Ausstattung ist gehoben , die Betten groß und sehr bequem !Die Terrasse ist eine Art "dining lounge", sehr bequem ! Der Pool wird auf 27-28 Grad solar-beheizt , der Poolbereich ist großzügig ( ausreichend Liegen ) und schön.
  
  What could be improved: Nichts! Nur , dass unser Aufenthalt zu kurz war , da wir auf einem Roundtrip sind …

• Blue Gold Escape – Dedecker from Belgium – 8 April 2025 (10/10)

  We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad van één nacht bij Blue Gold Escape in Playa Paraiso! De locatie is fantastisch – op slechts een korte wandeling van het strand Las Galgas en dicht bij attracties zoals Aqualand.
  
  Het appartement zelf was brandschoon, ruim en modern ingericht. De twee slaapkamers waren comfortabel en de twee badkamers waren ideaal, vooral als je met meerdere mensen verblijft. De keuken was volledig uitgerust met onder andere een koelkast en vaatwasser, wat het erg makkelijk maakte om zelf te koken. De zithoek was gezellig en de flatscreen-tv een leuke extra.
  
  Een groot pluspunt was het privézwembad – echt een luxe gevoel! Ook fijn dat er gratis privéparkeren was en snelle WiFi.
  
  De airconditioning werkte perfect, en het terras was een heerlijke plek om ’s avonds te ontspannen. Alles wat we nodig hadden, van handdoeken tot beddengoed, was aanwezig en netjes verzorgd.
  
  Kortom: een prachtig verblijf, ook al was het maar voor één nacht. We komen hier zeker graag nog eens terug!

  Wij hebben een fantastische tijd gehad! Het terras met uitzicht op zee was een absoluut hoogtepunt; elke ochtend begonnen we met een prachtig uitzicht. De ligging is perfect, met restaurants, winkels en de zee allemaal op loopafstand. Het was ook erg handig dat er een parkeerplek beschikbaar was. Het appartement zelf is modern, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Zeker een plek om naar terug te keren!
